out of everything and retiring for the night.

spectacular exit in the irish open qualifier where my flopped straight was rivered by a flush.

overall performance for the day

STTs
played 11 (3 wins, 1 second , 2 thirds, 2 bubbles) profit = $283

MTTs
played 8 (1 win, 1 cash, 1 seat secured which was subsequently donked along with a few others) profit = $125

gotta be happy with that, given that I donked another $200 trying to qualify for the irish open. I still have plenty of my Paddy power roll to try this and the STTs are funding this campaign very well.

Snowed in again tomorrow, but not sure I"ll play as much. Poker is much more fun as a hobby rather than a job.

still off school and cant see when it will be ok to return.

Played a bit of poker over the last couple of days but not much. Won about $100 playing STTs and lost about $250 playing MTTs. connection went again....must invest in a dongle (any recommondations here??)

Worse still, my brand new boiler packed in last night. Not great when its -14 degrees C outside, or to use the old BBC vidiprinter method -14 (MINUS FOURTEEN) degrees outside. Went to bed armed with a full set of clothes on, two duvets and a wife.

Woke up still alive. (edit-so was the wife)

Anyway, boiler was working fine according to my plumber mate. I just needed to fill it up (easy), bleed the radiators (easy) and reset it (easy) but it still wasn"t working. >:(

The problem was that the pipe leading to the condenser (i think) was frozen so the boiler was working fine but didn"t have the minerals to heat my house. I was then advised to defrost this pipe. Many boiled kettles later, a few shins up a step ladder and I was ready to reset and .............

....bingo!! its working again and house is slowly heating up again.

I can now resume my professional poker career.

I"m going with a four table max setup. Three STTs running with one MTT as and when I choose.

well had a pretty profitable day

STTs
played 16 (4 wins, 1 second, 1 third, 1 bubble) profit = +$172

MTTs
played 2 which I went reasonably deep in, busting out of both before the money. profit = -$50

Am a bit pokered out, so the news that I"m not back in work untill wednesday next week is a bit disturbing!

Just back from Goodison, were you there? Everton were brilliant, as good a performance as I,ve seen for some time. City were given a lesson. Fellaini was immense and Piennaar inspired, it could have been five !

didn"t go. But yes, we were thoroughly outplayed. Injuries to santa cruz and petrov didn"t help. It will be interesting to see how mancini works with the first choice back 4. He"s done an ok job with the reserve one.

If u continue to have problems with it Rob [condenser pipe freezing up] u can increase the pipe size to a 35mm waste pipe [if this size freezes then generally the pipe is big enough to not fully freeze up and still allows your boiler to drain]
I"m guessing your pipe runs externally so u could insulate the pipe, but rodents luv chewing this so that maybe a problem.Another option is to bury a soak away pipe in the garden and discharge the condense into this, ask your plumber mate if it would suit your needs etc.
If possible run the condense pipe internally into a sink or washing machine waste pipe, again 1 to ask your plumber mate about if he hasnt mentioned it already.
If it is a mexico boiler replace it ;D i hate the bl##dy things..

Keep warm :)

thanks steve. Good to see you too. Well done on another team win.

I thought the results would be up for the other awards. Did you win one?

lol rub-down?  :)

All the results are in the midst of the live update thread around the start of day two.   IMO the best award made was Mr Prew into the Hall Of Fame. Awesome, and so "richly" deserved.
