First exit is a pretty juicy one, and runs as follows:
Andy Hall, of LPPL and IPO 2nd place(!) fame gets involved in 3-way pot with Carl Drinkwater (LBPN) and John Leonard (Genting Southport).
John Leonard raises to 150. Carl makes it 350 to go, and Andy calls. John also calls.
The flop comes down Q 4 3 rainbow.
Checked to Carl, he makes it 750 to go. Andy pumps it to 1750. Both John and Carl make the call.
The turn is an innocuous looking
Andy fires out 6000. (John Murray"s view is this was "Badly played". He is sat next to Andy).
John (Leonard) shoves all in. With alarm bells ringing Carl makes the fold (pocket Aces). Andy with 4k left, says "let me check I"ve got the nuts", and looks down at the pair of Queens in his hand. It"s an easy call to make in the end. A crestfallen John flips 44, and had 1 card to save him...
The river comes the case Queen. Andy makes a very early double up, and John is our first exit.
