good luck on the second day to the teams. Wales again?!

is this summary thread it for the team event?

i have looked and looked and can"t see a longer thread with some of the colour of what is always a great event to rail live/virtually.

no real action so far and the atmosphere is strangely quiet......even James Ellis seems more focused on his cards than he is lifting his kilt or banging out Flower of Scotland on the table.....in his broad Geordie accent........

Canada take out France!

Phil Hertel takes out Jean-Michel Ballocchi in the PLO8 Table 3 - Phil scooping the pot against Michel to eliminate him but splitting a side with Laura Coutero (Spain) to keep her in the event.

Oh la la Jean-Michel!

walking round the tables it seems that Portugal are having a particularly good session....captain Bruno Rilho has a stack in front of him piled up that is of quite an unsteady nature, such is its height.....and his Portuguese team mates are supporting him well by also having very healthy stacks in front of them....

a likely kiss of death applied but was noticeable anyway

bad session for England - Jan Kusters (Belgium) wins a massive pot with Bruno Rilho (Portugal) and Ant Williams (England) all committed also.....Jan"s AA hold up against AQ and JJ with Jan taking the main pot but Bruno taking the side pot - Ant isnt out but next hand...he is.

Two down for England already
