I just noticed the scoring details. Someone who finishes 600th in the ME will receive the same points as the winner of any other event and more than anyone who reaches any other final table. Doesn"t seem right to me.

I used Robs scoring formulae as it gives most a chance going into the ME.. But indeed seems a little rewarding if you min cash, would you like me to change it to say 2 points for a ME cash? Or leave it as it is? Up to you guys...

I think it"s ok. I would have gone with one point for a cash, as it"s no more difficult (prob easier) to cash than in the other events, but two is certainly more equitable than five. The odd point probably won"t matter in the end anyway.

Not too bothered about changing the ME scoring if that"s what everyone wants (I.e not just a few people). The rationale behind my idea was to give everyone a chance going into the main. If you are 15 points behind first then the main is a non event.

However, 10 points for the ME winner could possibly stretch this out until November, whereas paying FT only means the comp is done and dusted once the series is over in July.
