APAT UK Team Championship Online Event - Sunday 23.2.14 @8pm.

Following the UK Team Championship at Stoke, APAT is pleased to confirm details of the online version of the event.

The APAT UK Team Championship will be held on APATCoral on Sunday February 23rd 2014, starting at 8pm, with the password "apatmemb". If you haven"t already downloaded, please see here for instructions: http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=14955.0

The buy-in is £20 + £2 and players will start the event with 5,000 chips on a 10 minute clock - with all the levels, and 1 hour late reg. The top 3 places will receive a coveted APAT Medal, with the winner also receiving an invite to the Champion of Champions Tournament to be played at the end of Season 7.

There are no Player of the Season points available in this tournament as this is an "Open" tournament.

You can either enter individually, or (for a bit of fun) as part of a team. We will guarantee entry to the UK Team Championship in Season 8 to the winning team in this event.

Individual Element

• Despite it"s name, this is mainly an Individual event. However, we have added a Team element for fun (see below).


• Payouts for this game will be the iPoker network standard.


• Medals will be awarded to top 3 finishing players.


• The event winner will receive an invite to the Champion of Champions Event.

Team Element

• Enter as part of a team (just for fun, but with an added bonus - keep reading)


• Teams can comprise 2 to 8 players. You can either enter with the team you played the UK Team Championship with, or create an entirely new team.


• Please post team name and team member nicknames on this thread so we can keep a track of you.


• The winning team will receive kudos from all the other teams taking part, and also a guaranteed entry into the UK Team Championship in Season 8.


• If you have more than 8 players who want to take part, then submit 2 (or more) teams, e.g. an A Team and a B Team.


• Please note, there is no requisite to play as part of a team,. This is mainly an individual event, with an added "for fun" team element

Scoring
The top 50 (or less if there are less players) will be awarded points with 1 point for 50th place, and 50 points for 1st. A maximum of 4 team members can score points (the highest 4 scores in each team will count). In the event of a tie the team with the highest individual points scorer will win.

I like this idea Was planning on putting together an APAT Mods team though, so will play for them if I can get that off the ground. If not though, then I would like to play for the APAT Redeem Team for sure
