So tonight is aquarium night. I have cashed there for the last three visits. It seems to suit my tight passive game. As mentioned numerous times it's a friendly live game with cheap beer and craic with the wee man & Carl. It has its detractors, but it does what it says on the tin. 12k chips and a 15 minute clock, usually around 20 runners, kicks off at 7.30 and done and dusted by 11.30 perfect.

Work tomorrow night, we are upgrading the database application on all our warehouse servers so no poker Saturday night, saving myself for Sunday's league game. If you belong to the Liverpool team check your inbox. If you want to be a member of the Liverpool team sign up NOW and play.

Off to the aquarium to learn once again why playing poker properly isn"t very profitable.

The "live" game was profitable last night (Beer money not included  ::) )

Outlay

2 X £13 for the main event (me & wee man)

I, of course, donked out with inspired aggression, pity I ran into a flopped straight, but the wee man came 5th for £20

= -£6

Side game was played by me £5 SNG

I chopped HU for £17.50

= + £12.50

Poker profit = £6.50

A wins a win  ;D

Much more profitable for myself and my wife. We left in profit just over £250. Nice night out.

As is our want of a saturday myself and the wee man had a maccyD meal today for lunch. The drive thru in the outlet village is closed for "restyling" (whatever that is) so I illegally parked in Ellesmere Port as he ran in for two "large" McChicken meals.

Later tonight I see an advert for MaccyD"s saying you got free Coke glasses with meals cue conversation.

"You get coke glasses with a MaccyD meal" says I
"Yep" says he
"Funny that we didn"t get glasses with the meals today then" says I
"We did" says he
"Where are they then" says I
"Left them behind" says he
"Why" says I
"Only got two hands" says he

No answer to that ... priceless....
