What a week-end!  Met a drag queen, tattoo queens and a pub just cram packed full of queens.  As Ger often says...priceless!

Another wild weekend at Chezger, and a damn good one. Friday night started with a visit to the aquarium, where I cashed. Well I cashed in fourth after a lesson in how to bink off a large stack when there was no need. Headed back to the house and because I had a few things to do on the Saturday I went to my pit early enough. I was awoken by the younger generation of the household at some ungodly hour as they came in after a night in Chester.

Saturday dawned and I went to the shop for some supplies, well beer actually. Payback time was when I woke everyone up as revenge for them waking me up. Dawn headed into town with Adam & Joobs and they came back with food. I mean for God's sake, food. Got the chips set up and with a couple of late withdrawals we started off with 24 players. The streaming on the web seemed to work albeit it kept falling more and more behind. I reset it on the first break and it got closer to real time but then kept falling behind. Well it was free to stream so I can't complain too much really.

Never got going in the main event, however others got going even worse than me. Was out early enough and played at the cash table where my fortunes were a little better. Dawn hardly played a hand as she rushed around cooking snacks. Maybe that's the way to play from now on. Leave the table for 20 minutes, come back, flop a straight, knock someone out and then back to the kitchen. She had also purchased a red feathered Boa which ran on her white top, which at the end of the night was a pink top.

Congrats to all who final tabled and to the eventual 7 who cashed.

Dawn £370
Carl  £300
Jason £210
Adam £150
Howard £70
Karen £50
Asa £50

Thank you all attendees who made the night a special night.

Sunday was All Ireland Gaelic Football day with Cork taking on Down. We headed for Liverpool and after queuing up for a while managed to get into O'Neill's. Had a goodly amount of drink and watched the mighty Cork win their first All Ireland for 20 years. Met up with Scouse and Dan and had a nice evening. Got in home and ordered a Chinese then the youngsters headed into Chester and I headed for my bed. Old age is a bugger...

Great people, Great Craic, priceless...

Been poorly for the last couple of days, didn"t make work today which for me is not good. Anyway the weekend beckons and I hope to improve a wee bit. Now I don"t travel great on water at the best of times and with my fragile state I was thanking my stars that I had booked the fast boat.

Oh no someone hates me. Email from Irish Ferries

Irish Ferries regrets to advise that the 1200 ex Holyhead Fast Ferry Sailing on Friday, 24 Sep 2010 has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions on the Irish Sea. You can be accommodated on the 14:10 ex Holyhead Cruise Ferry sailing instead. Check-in at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

FML so high seas and three hours on a slow boat in heavy seas - They will have to have garden sacks for sick bags

Logically, I get in at 17.05 at the Stena Termnal.

I have no idea if the Stena & Irish Ferries terminals are close but we could share a cab.
