It"s the aquarium freeroll today and I fell well enough to attend, probably a mistake. This game is a game for the top 30 players in the monthly league and should be a nice way to spend the afternoon.

The duke took down the freeroll - through pure skill and patience  ;D

I dont see why you needed to add tat last bit, wouldnt expect anything less :p

Well the freeroll in the aquarium was good craic, a few pints, golf on the big screen and a bit of binkage poker thrown in.

Notable hands.

Biggest surprise was with blinds 300/600 and me with 13k. UTG makes it 2k folded to me mid position, Look and see an A I look again and see another A. I make it 6k all folded back to original raiser who has approx 13k back. He just calls. He is a fairly good player but has been known to make rash decisions (sound familiar).

Anyway flop comes  tc  6c  4d   He checks, I do what I had planned to do and shove the other 7k in. He tanks, good yes, obv no setted or two paired you would think. If he calls he has 2k left, he ponders for ages. He has to put me on premium doesn"t he.

He calls

I table  :as:  ah

he turns over  ad1 kh

"I put you on a small pair" says he "and I felt like a gamble"  ::)

Thanks Ste.

Carl & myself tangled a couple of times when down to 13 runners A9 v A9 all in after a 9 10 3 flop. Then he raised I have KK - I reraise - he shoves all in - I call - he has AK

Flop Axx   ooops

Turn - case K (I run good sometimes)

Final table was much of the same I hit most things then heads up against Karen I won four all ins to take first prize of £122

Good day - Great people - priceless

looks like you have kept this important info out of your profile as your birthday doesn"t appear on the forum calender. So, you try to keep it secret.......?

Bearing in mind that I might have a drink or two tonight I did some research.

Light drinker, one or two drinks a week
Moderate drinker, three to five drnks a week
Heavy or binge drinker, seven drinks a week or six at one time.

FFS who thought that up
