Heikki Kovalainen hit the wall in F1 Practice. Wrecked the car and he got interviewed after.

Interviewer: "What do you think the mechanics will say?"
Heikki Kovalainen  "I am here to push they are here to fix"

LOL

Off to the aquarium in a while, it will be packed with footy fans and folk musicians (festival on this weekend) but I can"t miss my Friday fix.

Went last night and was doing kinda ok until 99 << Q 10  JJ << 85 and then AQ ran into AA. Tonight will of course be different.....

Well that was a salient lesson in how to play rugby. Ireland were totally outclassed by the All Black's running lines and their controlled aggression around the breakdown was a delight to watch. You got the feeling at half time that the dam was creaking and it was only a matter of time until it burst. Macaw must be the most complete player ever to play the game to be honest.

Now for the Grand Slam winners V Tri nations winners (Australia could be looking to destroy after their dismal showing against Scotland)

Certainly looks as if Australia have come out to destroy.  Not quite sure how we are only a score away, and with a bit more discipline we might have a few more points from a couple of chances.

Good game to watch.

Have you been watching the under-20? there"s been some really good contests, Ireland beat hosts South Africa, then England beat Ireland in a mudbath overturning a 15-3 deficit and Wales beet the "Baby Blacks" to inflict their first defeat in 4 years.

Open Letter to all users of Candy Crush Saga on FaceBook

It is not too late to step away from the devil's spawn of Candy Crush. It will take over your mind and soul and leave you a swearing, quivering wreck. Embrace the world outside, there is one you know. I am a reformed Candy Crusher and while stuck on the fecking level that is commonly known as 65, I took stock of my life. The waiting for lives, the begging of friends for help and the vindictiveness of the software is humiliating and should be avoided at all costs. But do not despair there is help at hand. I found solace in the form of alcohol, much less destructive and great for lifting the spirits when you are suffering from Crush-itis.

Cheers

Today is

Football
Spain to win and Ireland to win (last one obv heart but hedged and bet the draw, that is one bet I would not mind losing with an Ireland win)

Poker
Genting freeroll and APAT league.

F1
Looking forward to an overtaking extravaganza

Some of them obviously clash. Will I concentrate, probably not but what is new.

Well I had a nice relaxing two weeks off, visited the Stockton Massive, visited Jaxie Towers and generally had a chill time. Now usually when you have been away it's good to wean yourself back in gently. Yeah, right. I was up supporting an install on Sunday Morning at 5.30am and I was on the road at 5am this morning. Gently, FFS.

The poker last night taught me that having a brain fart can be deadly. In the league game I was tipping along nicely, I limped with KJ well out of any recognised position, chip leader to my immediate left min raised. Now I just called. What was I hoping for anyway. Was it the K83 flop, possibly, possibly not. I bet, he raised. Now I had 19k back more than enough to tough it out, think about the play and execute a disciplined fold. Oh no the feeling of invincibility washed over me, did I care that he could have AK, KQ, not at all. Did I care that he could have min raised with AA, not at all. I boldly went where General George Armstrong Custer would fear to go. Yep I shoved, he called and yes he had AA. I am not known for my depth of thought obviously. It was screaming at me but I studiously ignored the warning bells, klaxons and whistles. Still, never mind eh!!
