All in all I had a great night and as I prepared this morning to launch into my speech about no commitment I was beaten to it as she made it clear that what happened was no indication of any sort of long term situation.

Agreed.

But the two have co-existed for quite some time and should continue to do so!

It is, in essence, a great big game of British Bulldog though  ;D

British Bulldog FTW!!  Remember well those days many years ago, tear-arseing across the concrete playground with 20+ loons salivating at the thought of dragging some poor kid to the ground and shredding knees of trousers and elbows of sweaters.

ahhhh happy times.

Just back in the door. As ever a memorable trip.

Landed Thursday and down to the pub that must not be mentioned for a couple, played poker that night and donked out but won 60 Euros in the cash game. We won't mention who won it.

On Friday afternoon back to the pub that must not be mentioned for afternoon refreshment then more poker and I came third this time. Good craic as usual and loads of Guinness.

Now Saturday night was the scene of Dawn's surprise party and it was like a military operation to keep her out of the pub where they were setting it up. On leaving the house her three children were lounging on the couch with all the looks of people who were in for the night. However when we left I can imagine the panic as they got changed and legged it up to the pub to put the finishing touches to the place.

It was a great night with a disco and copious amounts of drink. People came back to the  house and I showed my age and slipped off to bed at some hour only to be awoken by some random man in boxer's climbing in beside me. This was 9am so I got out and let the morning shift have the bed and went downstairs and the party was still in full swing.

Got a lift to the airport from John Paul (the rest were in no shape to drive FFS) and let me tell you he's a nice lad but a bit of a lunatic in the car. As we were pulling off the crew were already walking up town to start the day right..

Great weekend, Great people, priceless

nb There is more but what happens in Knocknagree stays in Knocknagree 8)

In 1981 we had three TV channels and in my opinion we had some quality programs, in 2010 we have 980 and I can"t find anything good to watch FFS
