Forgot to say thank you for the random Dublin carvary directions last weekend. Roast pork, roasties, all the trimmings and the best gravy ever. Went down an absolute treat.

p.s. Have you ever been to the leprechaun museum? Still in shock to discover after paying 20 euro for myself and my good lady that they did not have any leprechauns. Not one! Surely being called the leprechaun museum they"d have at least one. Blatent misadvertising IMO. Rant over.

Now pretty much poker retired, but available to help feed / sub the APAT server hamsters now & again.

This is now my third weekend on the trot where I am not away at poker or elsewhere. I swerved the aquarium for each of those Friday nights as well. I have also played very little on line over the last three weeks.

And do you know what? I feel good, I put my feet up and become a complete lazy bar steward for the two days of the weekend. Don't get me wrong I am really looking forward to Season 5, the friends I love to meet and the craic. However these wee periods of rest and recuperation are priceless.

I might drag myself up to pop round and visit my sister for coffee and a chat. She is a wonderful person and I love her very much. She keeps trying to get me to join her in her rambles around the countryside, however I always have an excuse. Maybe I should get her to chat to Jack.

So the kitchen needs attention and the front room needs a tidy, I will take those chores at my leisure with a smile on my face.

Life is good.....

So, a homeless man who admitted begging in Belfast has been jailed for a week after being unable to pay a fine.

BBC

Why do I think he might not be unhappy with a bed and 3 meals a day  ;D

Watching the Freddie Flintoff v Steve Collins challenge, classic tv

Just before they attempt a tandem sky dive Steve"s "tandem man" says

"You are not going to chicken out on me are you"

Steve"s pure Irish reply

"No, F**k off"

LOL just LOL
