Just one question to this couple.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14161661

What is the overriding reason for going public? I wonder what the motivation is, gloating, pressure from the organisers. Whatever it is I know it would be damn impossible to keep the win a secret but I personally would lie low for a while (probably in Vegas)

I don"t understand, it is just going to bring them trouble. At least she might get her neck back (meoww), although they seem like a nice couple.

Haircut accomplished without mishap

The wee man has gone camping for the weekend with his mates, I have just cleaned up the living room and will now settle in tidy surroundings to watch the golf.

Ok my relaxing day at home has prepared me for the battle tonight at the aquarium. I am ready for all that they throw at me.

The aquarium delivers or not.

Bubble boy last night again. I reached the final table with 55k in chips and was near as not chip leader with 3 other players close. However with the blinds 1000/2000 (15 minute levels and self dealt) this is largely irrelevant. I kept my foot on the gas and maybe could have ignored the short stack pushes (with marginal hands) but did not, as I did not want any of the other middling stacks to capitalise. Advice on different ways to play this will probably be forthcoming.

My demise was when Howard raised, I had 6 6 and knew it would be a race. I shoved and he insta called (for most of his stack) with K 10. Board ran out 8 8 9 9 Q .

I always say and will continue to say, it's a good way to spend a Friday night, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

OK, waiting for the holding tanks to open on DTD client, should be an interesting scramble for some of the seats.

After that it will be the golf, what a facinating day is in prospect. The weather has made this a good one to watch (personal opinion some may disagree) and with only a few shots seperating the field I will be glued.

So the mad scramble for seats in the World's wasn't as mad as expected. Anyway due to work commitments I am not able to play as many of these as I would like.

So I am in the Horse on Saturday and day 1B for the main only. Disappointing but work pays for my poker (poker certainly doesn't) and comes first. I have Glasgow to look forward to before then so all is not lost.

Ger,

Quick Travel Tip:

Got an AMEX card? See this link..[HERE]...select the 2 for 1 option for "Nottingham"...I got £38.50 a night a the HI Castle Marina (Sat & Sun).

No points earned though.

The "35% off" doesn"t have anything at Nottingham for the dates.

EDIT: Got £48 for Friday (down from £57) for Friday though using the other option.
