Brian Wyllie writes on the BBC News Facebook page: "The govt should return to proper river management so that the rivers capacity is returned to the volumes of years ago then they wouldn"t overflow! Its as simple as that to resolve the majority of flooding. You don"t need high tech flood barriers etc. Dredge the rivers!"

Simplezzz  ???

Ours are up.

We usually don"t have one as we don"t spend Christmas at home but we had a party Friday and we have another one in a couple of weeks due to a (*cough*) significant event, and then we are disappearing to Prague so we have basically brought xmas forward by a couple of weeks  ;D

I have a new car too (well I"m sort of borrowing mine for a few months as the lease was up on the Skoda). Still it"s the nicest car I have ever (sort of) owned!

I play some online poker tonight and in no particular order

NLHE
KK<
5 Card draw
10 10 10 x x << KKKKx ok I can live with that

PLO
flopped s8 << rivered flush

PLO8
AA23 (flop 345) << yep - at least I split that one

I love this game roll on Stoke

Back in Chezger after another great weekend with APAT people.

Cliffs

Glenn's epic taxi saga
My epic taxi saga
Lucy runs like a God and I had the sense to stake her (much more positive)
10 hours of poker then JJ v QQ . All I got was a numb bum and a sore back.
PLO sucks, but having 10% of Darren & 10% of Shaz was positive
Stu now thinks he's a stud master
APAT people are awesome
Carl Pilgrim is da man
Paulie will win one of these

Great people, Great times, fecking priceless
