A lot of snow here overnight and as I dropped Ger off to work this morning I decided that a MaccyD breakfast was in order. They have just refurbished the drive thru at Cheshire Oaks and make it a two lane, jazzing up the entrance with fancy high glass boundaries. These were intact the last time I was there. Not any more, late night eaters must have misjudged the conditions and three panels were hit by cars overnight  ;D

So you hear all these stories about FB being trawled by companies, wake up people of course they do.....

Selected quotes from BBC

"The Recruitment Society and The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) say most employers now search job candidates online."

K**** D***** called in sick at work for two days. She said: "My boss phoned me up two days later and asked, "Did I have a nice time? My workmate had grassed me up and all my pictures were over Facebook."

"It"s frustrating I have to be very careful now and can"t always say what I really feel,"
Not about your employer you can"t.....

Some people should engage their brains before their fingers.......

That reminds me of an article I saw about the dangers of facebook.

It had stories like somebody who got arrested for a hit and run after putting on his fb status that he"d driven home drunk and sorry for whoever he"d hit;  and of a boy who got shot and killed by his sister after they were posing for a fb profile pic holding their dad"s guns.

I don"t think it really emphasised the dangers of facebook though.

I think it just showed the dangers of being really stupid.

It is the start of the 6 nations today and Ireland are on a bit of a upswing of optimism. Exciting newcomers and the return from injury of Brian O"Driscoll, Sean O"Brien and Rob Kearney.

Wales seem to be in a bit of a mess at the moment, but I for one will not be complacent. Ireland should take this one but Wales when they are good can be devastating, capable of fast and furious rugby. You don't win Grand Slams and then drop off the clock.

Wales undoubtedly have potential and they are hurting, but I am still hopeful of a win.

Cmon Ireland....

Nice bit of footwork, but did nobody else notice that he actually knocked it on when catching it off his foot?

So 3 are going to provide 4G to their subscribers later in the year for no increase in cost on the said subscribers tarriff. What"s the betting the tarriff is increased just before the 4G is introduced, just the cynic in me  ;D
