How is it that I get all manner of abuse for having to work when the stag do was on, yet Ger gets away with not going to the wedding?!?!!  :P

A Norfolk micro brewery has been told it must change its name or face legal action, because it sounds too similar to the energy drink Red Bull.

ARTICLE

Redwell brewery, which employs just eight people in Norwich, has been told by the firm its name could "confuse" customers and "tarnish" its trademark.

OK apart from the bullying tactics of a massive corporation that produces a, frankly, sub standard product, what is the problem.

BULL vs WELL - hmm don"t think so.
Beer vs Energy drink - nope no clash so far

So it all hinges on the word RED, does that mean the bullies will go after

Red Eagle
Red Hat
Red Fork
Red Hill
All the fecking Red Lion pubs
or any of the other 90 odd companies registered in the UK with their name beginning with RED

Bully tactics, even the guy who instigates all this has the title "brand enforcement manager"

Tell em go hike and see them in court  ;D

Surely if Redwell doesn"t give you wings then what is the issue...?

It just goes to show what type of person buys RedBull who might mistakenly buy Redwell.

My weekend has been quiet, working most of Saturday and feeling gutted that I was not able to celebrate Phil & Lilly's nuptials. I am confident however, that they got a right royal send off.

I hope the following was adhered to.

Stu kept his trousers on
Michelle didn't get lost in the hotel
Michelle didn't touch any light switches or plugs
Curly didn't talk about cricket.
Jack kept awake
Dawn kept conversation to 59 minutes every hour.
JP didn't shout at too many people not drinking Carlsberg products.
No lemon was allowed in any drinks

And most of all a great time was had by all..

I think the only diktat we fell foul of was the citrus one and I blame LJ for that - JP"s lovely better half.

We were all on best behaviour...mostly.

Stu needed help with his tie and wasn"t best pleased

But he cheered up once it was sorted

Just booked the flight to Prague....

As usual I untick all the promo stuff and email stuff etc etc

So, isn"t it a coincidence that shortly after booking I get hit by emails from numerous companies associated with travel and Prague  8)

OK, it is nearly time. Tomorrow the loins will be girded, the resolve heightened and the bank balance depleted.

Yes it is time for another APAT weekend. Throw in the honour of representing your country with the other honour of being amongst a great bunch of people then excitement is obviously screaming at the brain.

I will be leaving Chezger at around 1pm tomorrow hitting ground zero at approximately 3pm and meeting up with numerous legends such as the esteemed travel guru before wending our way over to DTD

Looking forward to it? Hell Yes
