All our memories are supposed to be stored in the Zero Point Field as well apparently.

Forget the professors name but he did experiments with rats brains by burning bits off with a "curling tong" to try and decipher which part of the brain held the memory ... then found that rats with practically all of their brains fried still remembered the course he had previously taught them.

All fascinating stuff.

from that article
Quote

Mr Green added that Google"s own appearance near the top of its list could be explained by the fact that Chrome and other internet browsers can be set to automatically use the search engine when a phrase - rather than a full web address - is typed into their top bars.

"Chrome makes no distinction between web addresses and words in its search box so people get lazy and just type in single words like Google rather than full web addresses," he said.

"But this registers as a search."

looking at the list I think most of those search terms come about because of that rather than because people are actually searching for them.

During the week there were two conflicting news stories

From the USA
In the light of the warnings from the weather people of hurricane speed winds, people in the USA started hoarding food and water, filled the sandbags and retreated to the cellars to pray for deliverance.

From Ireland
The Met Office warned of 100mph winds in the West of Ireland. A spokesman told RTE that it would be prudent for the residents to take in their washing.

Priceless.........

Today a few people at work have made the commitment to lose weight this year. So a huge weigh in was arranged for 6 people. There is a wager amongst them for this challenge. Now when all had been weighed a spreadsheet was created (sad IT people) and bets were made. When this was done I was exhorted to weigh myself. I did so under pressure and my weight was duly recorded.

I am the keeper of the spreadsheet and I have already cut and pasted today"s weight into every weekly row for this year.

So notwithstanding S8 dates it seems that my year will be mapped out pretty much already.

Stoke end of the month
Southport March
Portugal May
Vegas October (around my significant birthday)
Portugal November

In between May and October there is also the little matter of a wedding in the USA  - It's a hard life.
