Interesting structure.... when I play these online, the PLO round usually steps back a bit from the previous NLHE round to account for the fact that the pots in PLO are generally much bigger....

Can someone give me some advice on this - I think my eta at the casino on Wednesday is going to be very touch and go for 30 before the start time, but I"ll definitely be there for the start.  The 30 mins is when it says is the cut off for the eventbrite thingy at which point the seats are released. Is there anyway of securing it properly?  Could I get someone to pay the cash monies for me if I give them the details of my ticket?

Agree - rather than having one game per level - wouldn"t it be better to do a round of each? Can still maintain the same structure so wouldn"t require Aspers staff to change anything apart from the number of cards they deal when button reaches seat 1.

I remember the HORSE being like that before and tables being on different games half the time, so when people were moved they sometimes went back to games their previous table had already finished. I will give you that the name of this event includes the words "round of each", though.

I"m confused. It is a round of each but the structure is written as though it were a level of each!

Lets not get too technical - the event is "Mixed Game" - the explanation (round of each NLHE/PLO) was only added in brackets after John (Murray) asked for clarification of what "mixed" was - so we in effect explained it was NLHE and PLO - but I accept we also added the words "round of each" - does that mean we should stick to "round of each" as opposed to "level of each"?

Don"t know myself - another one for tomorrow!

Overall - what is the best format to use? - does what we have make "much" difference to how you might have played it before?  Do we NEED to change it?

Well we need the clarity. If it is a round of each then the structure doesn"t make sense - although you fix it by removing the NLHE / PLO descriptor at the end of each line. level 1 is 25 / 50, level 2 is 50 / 100 etc irrespective of the game. If it"s a level of each then the structure makes sense, but you may want to look at the feedback above.

I can clarify/confirm that the "Mixed Game" is now a "ROUND" of each NLHE/PLO - eg when the button is on Seat 1 the game will change (opening para updated)

Players just taking their seats for the start of this new addition to the APAT WCOAP schedule of events - it has certainly caused quite a stir amongst the players, with the perception that this event will be fishier than a haddocks bathing suit.

It is an orbit of NLHE then an orbit of PLO, with blinds increasing as the clock ticks over its 30 minutes per level.

A 15k starting stack should be enough to keep most in for a reasonable amount of time.....but this could be a very rocky ride.....strap yourselves in guys and gals....here we go!
