[EN] Online qualification for Belgian Amateur Poker Championship

Starting July 28 you can qualify online for the Belgian Amateur Poker Championship in Namur.

They take place on BWIN; and if you haven"t got an account yet, you can create one by clicking the logo: (they have a nice first deposit bonus and a lot of soft games)




Every day at 19:00 (Sundays at 17:15) you can find a Belgian Championship Qualifier for $3 (approx £1,75) which leads to a weekly final Belgian Championship Satellite on Sunday at 19:00 for $20 (approx £11,80).

A Main Event seat is $150 (approx. £88), which means that 1 in 8 players will qualify.

Of course you can also buy into the final directly.

Every qualifier has 1 seat guaranteed to the final, every final has 1 Main Event seat guaranteed.
No password is required.

This schedule will only be announced by BWIN in a few days, meaning that right now not a lot of players will find the tournaments just yet.

Qualification will run for 6 weeks! You can win more than 1 seat and will be credited with cash in that case.

If you already paid for your Namur seat and still want to give the qualifiers a go, please let me know and we"ll make sure to credit your account if you win!

Last night"s Weekly Final saw 16 players; and so 2nd place got $141,20 which is almost the same value as a ticket ($150).

With about 1 in 8 qualifying there"s some pretty good value to be found!



Every night we have a $3 qualifier to the Weekly Final, with 1 ticket guaranteed.
If you win multiple tickets, you will be credited with Tournament Dollars.

You can unregister from the Weekly Final and use your ticket on a later date as well.

Still 5 weeks left to try and get a cheap ticket for Namur!

Tonight we have a new Weekly Final to win a seat for the Belgian Amateur Poker Championship.

Given the numbers in the subqualifiers, it"s likely that we will be handing out 2 seats!

One UK-player (nickname taxb, not sure who he/she is) managed to win a seat for today"s final; last week we had Tom Clark finishing 7th in the final.

At 17:15 we have a $1 Turbo subqualifier for the Weekly Final, with 1 seat guaranteed.
At 19:00 we have the Weekly Final with 1 seat guaranteed (and likely 2 seats).

I don"t know about anyone else but I"ve struggled to find any of the APAT qualifiers in the client.

I don"t know about anyone else but I"ve struggled to find any of the APAT qualifiers in the client.

I know of a few Belgian players who couldn"t find it immediately... BWIN did make a mistake and left out "APAT" in the tournament name.

But the best you can do is to set the filter above to "Live Events" (the left one) and the others to "ALL"... and then you should be able to find it under "Belgian Championship Qualifier" at 19:00.

If you keep having problems, please send me message on Facebook (Tom Slikboer) and when I"m online we can check together. There might be a few differences between our Belgian poker client and the UK one, but we"ll find it.

And I know that Tom Clark has played a qualifier, and also Richard Baker... so if they can maybe reply and help out, that would be great!
