I think we"ll need another rethink after this. 6pm is way too early to have to start - and if you win a satellite you don"t have the option of late entry, or of unregistering now we"re on i-poker. Start later and reduce the stacks imo.

... in your opinion.

Much prefer this as a start time on a Sunday.

Well it was done by 11.30 wasn"t it?
So same stacks and 7pm start should lead to a 12.30am finish which I think we could all cope with?

Please do not reduce the stacks or alter the structure for a faster game. Last nights structure felt spot on.

Still like the idea of 2 day online nationals  :P

*put"s the big spoon down*

I"ve changed my mind competely on this.... Twice!

When I initially read it I though it was a terrible idea, but then on reflection thought it could be quite interesting!

However, having now played an event and realising (selfishly) that under this plan I would not have been able to it has me thking that we are all, by definition, amateurs with other commitments so 2 x consecutive nights may be a challenge for many!

Having said that, maybe the main even of the world online to trial this as a one off Saturday & Sunday with plenty of notice?
Multiple Day 1s with re-entry on separate days?

+1. Actually good to play a full tournament and get to bed for a not too unsociable hour for work in the morning.

Re-entry? NO NO NO NO NO NO

Please, please, please do not let re-entry invade APAT. It is slowly the death of poker.

We only had 60 runners in the main, which is a fair bit down on our usual 100. I think the main reason for this is that we clashed with the World Cup Final. If we had 100 runners and a 7pm start time, I think we"d be looking at a 2am finish time..

found 18.00 a tad early but then on the plus side early finish. agree world cup impacted on game. for me i have to say re enrty is a bad thing, in that there are those that lack funds and those that have huge funds, so the playing field becomes uneven. i don"t like playing on line but make the effort because it is apat i would not play if it was re entry as i hate such games. as for last night card dead in both games, was watching world cup at same time so bored three times over. well done to those that cashed and thanks to apat for sorting game.
