:(

Crippled

no complaints top pair versus a flush draw - flush hit.

Might be a bit tricky to get back from less than one big blind

EDIT: didn"t take long - still no online final table for me this year :(

Out in first hand after break, allin with KK called by AK, as per usual when I"m in this position flop brings an A.
Often the correct decision is the hardest to reach

jeez this game can stink. all in preflop with 10 10 v A4.......... A on river to cripple me.

All in next hand with AQ v A 10......... 10 on river and all over.

Okay, I"ve just calmed down.

I"m dealt  ad td.  Raise to 4x BB.  One caller.

Flop comes  th 8s :2d:

I bet half pot.  He calls.

Turn brings  8c.

I check, He pushes all in for around 4k and has me covered.

I decide to call (feel free to analyse that if you like, about 2k left)

He shows  ac qh.

Rivers brings  qs.

Absolutely sickening.  Do I run bad at the moment.

Mobily24, anyone know them ?
Good luck to everyone left in.

Hello,

Unfortunately I am mobily24  :o I don"t feel I played that hand particularly well but would like to try and explain why I played it that way so I don"t come accross as a complete beginner!  ;D

I think the pre-flop play was pretty standard..... I called the bet on the flop because I didn"t think you"d hit the board. I had seen you play strong starting hands and put you on high cards. I called to see how you"d play the turn. I saw the check as weakness and pushed in thinking you had fold equity.

It was a great call on your part and were extremely unlucky when the Q hit. Unfortunately straight after the hand the table was broken meaning I couldn"t apologise.

I"ve been on the end of some major suckouts before so knew what a bad beat that was and genuinely felt bad.

I hope you suck out on me in the future and get your own back!!  :)

I"m starting to think I should not post straight after getting knocked out, I do myself no justice.

Thanks for the explanation, it"s much appreciated.  At the end of the day, it"s just poker and it happens to everyone.

Just a bit more to me at the moment than I would like.

See you again at the tables soon.

Great game again tonight. Managed my second 5th place in a week (whats all that about). Was under pressure having Gordon (GIMac) on my right for the last couple of tables, boy can he play.

Gl to the last four.

Mobily24 exits in 4th place when his JJ runs into GiMac"s AA and no help on the board.

Well Played.

A pot of 340k sees Gimac1 run his KK into aitch48"s AA.  Carnage at the tables.

GiMac1 is out in 3rd after becoming short stakced and pushing with AT against aitch48 with A5 with a 5 already on the flop.

Well Played Gordon, bronze medal for you.
