Sunday Poker Thread
« on: July 13, 2008, 14:33:33 PM »
Well, it"s back round to that day of the week again and the serious value tonight would appear to be on PokerStars.  The x2 promotion ends tonight with what should be some amazing value.

Sunday Warm-Up (Guaranteed $1m prizepool) - $200 + $15  starts at 5:45pm

Sunday 100k (Guaranteed $200k prizepool) -  $10 + $1 starts at 8:30pm

Sunday Million (Guaranteed $2m prizepool) - $200 + $15 starts at 9:30pm

So, where"s everyone planning on donking their chips off today ?

Just starting a Thunder Satellite to the £40k on William Hills.  If I don"t make it I might play the £100k on "Stars.

no added value in the Warm Up - with over 5000 runners it has exceeded the $1M guarantee.

The 100k always reaches 20000+ runners so the added value won"t be felt there either.

It just leaves the Million with a $2M guarantee - wonder if that"ll get 10000 players?!

Tournaments? pah! Who needs them? I"m currently on the cash Razz tables on Full Tilt although I might stay on this site and play their omaha/hold"em split tourney in about 40 minutes. Otherwise, I"ll be grinding away on the cash tables on Partypoker
Currently tearing the Ipoker anonymous tables a new one

grrrr - had a guy identified as real loose/passive fish - limping in from all positions with anything that looked nice, then folding to raises, or folding to small bets if missed flop..... easy money player...

....having got myself into a poor short stack position through a mixture of bad luck and bad play, I found 44 on the button after the fish had limped UTG. I had 11 big blinds, and he had just over 12...... i shoved and he snap called with JTo.......... of course he won the race and I was out. Can"t believe he limped UTG with JTo, then called all his chips to my all in, particularly as I hadn"t played anything for over 30 hands!!

Oh well, on to the daily 50k next... ;)  might even try the 100k crapshoot again having made 41st last week.

sighhhhhhhhhh
