Congratulations John - was fun playing with you as ever.

Thanks for the good wishes to win when you were leaving, Steve, considering you had suffered two bad run-outs not long before. Of course, anything can happen post-flop in PLO8, but you were entitled to expect to win at least half the pot, and maybe all of it, in both of the hands I was lucky to scoop against you at the end. You will know how painful it is to me to admit that you played a cracking tournament and would have been a deserved winner.

As the others have said, it was an enjoyable tournament with a lot of laughs. I was fortunate that more run-outs went my way than against me at crucial times. Everyone on the FT was playing well, with varying styles, and anyone could have emerged as the winner. Congrats to Tom Arthurs on his victory, having been the short-stack at one stage, but played the FT well to win.

It was fun, my turned 4 pairs didn"t fill up for me to bust, need an equity calculator for that one.

Good bit of banter on all tables from what I saw.
