Site Running Slowly

The site is definitely running slower, it takes upwards of 30 seconds to load every single page these days.

I"ll check with Phil TC as I"m also experiencing minor slowdown.

Might be a caching issue as some new images have just gone up.

Pretty much impossible to use now - getting bored of waiting 30 seconds for a page to load and then just see a Fast-CGI error. 

FFS Phil TC - get a new hamster.... this one"s burned out!!

Have done some maintenance on the server this morning, upgraded the SMF (forum software) from 1.1.19 to 1.1.20.
Have switched off the reverse DNS settings and switched on some persistent MySQL database connection settings.
Have subbed one of the hamsters.

Seems to be a little quicker to me... fingers crossed.

No wonder site was slow at the weekend - the hamster was in Leeds..... his running style was clearly "adjusted" by the Guinness!!

The site has been painfully slow recently, but is lightning fast now! Thank you! :)

Hopefully we"ll see an uptick in forum postings now it"s this fast! :)
