Hotels near The Vic

Has APAT got any deals with the local hotels. I would pitch a tent on Hyde park but the misses want"s to take advantage of the shopping opportunity so hotel it is. :)

Knowing the local authorities, I suspect a room at the Dorchester would be cheaper than pitching a tent in a public park :)

Whats the deal with parking at the Vic? I live local enough that i dont need to stay so would rather drive.

Yeah, they have a basement car park which is large and members can park there.

I got a hotel in Barking, which is about 12 miles from the venue for £90 for 3 nights for 3 ppl!

What time are the events likely to start and finish? Trains could be an option they are likely to finish before 1.

Start time is 2.30pm, probably finish about midnight at a guess.  Vic has valet parking I think.

yes the car park is free...but is inside the Congestion charge (just!) so beware. (NO congestion charge Sat and Sun.

Booked in the Royal Norfolk Hotel. £75 double. Doesn"t look very royal, it will keep the misses happy though.

bit of advice i stayed in cardiff hotel for gukpt earlier in year , dont ask them to phone you a cab min chanrge 20 quid !! i got one to vic cos late and not sure where it was it well walkin distnce !
And also hope you aint on top floor no lift and its quite tricky after a few stellas!
but clean tidy , small but is cheap an cheerful !

At least this one is within walking distance of the venue!!   :-\
