Des,

I bring up this subject quite alot with you.  Is there anyway the Irish Players can get a fair crack at the whip next season with Regionals.  As you know it has become a very expensive addiction now wanting to get a seat in all the Nationals. As Scouse has already said if he had of had the chance to play all the Nationals there is a good chance he would be top of the leader board.  Sorry to keep bothering you but if you dont ask you dont get. Big WOOP WOOP for an other Great weekend the APAT team seem to up the standard every venue(less the chilli con carne).

We would very much like to have a stronger presence in Ireland so this is definitely on our development list.

Even though i dont live there Des if you still want it in fortune rooms in Bangor i can get in touch with him again he was very keen when i spoke to him last year. Or dave or Colin still go there i believe !
And it was if i played the regional s dave not the nationals i cant make 2nd day let alone score a point ;)

I can speak to Des or Barney about this. I think they would be keen although would have to sort out the logistics as to how they could fit it into their current schedule and the buy-in. Obviously they would have to conform to the APAT philosophy and stucture. As they have two locations, Bangor and Cookstown, it might be fair to alternate the location of the regional in the interests of fairness. This will also mean the maximum number exposed to the benefits of joining and playing APAT events.

To be honest Colin I would play in anywhere in Ireland North or South as long as there is no water to cross.  Colin you missed a great weekend in London but you didnt miss any great food.  I still have the runs lol
