Is it possible to give any timescale for when any of the uncomfirmed venues/dates will be confirmed?

My guess would be "soon"  ;)

LOLd at that one.

Was going to ask some questions, but decided that instead of being lazy I could just re-read the information.

Or I might just PM Ian...

As I understand it, I can choose to represent whichever "club" I want to. Assuming I base my choice on whichever clubs are nearest to me, I could make a reasonable case for representing Luton, North London (Southern division) or Nottingham (midland). Would anyone care to aid my decision by suggesting who I should align myself with? I am of course open to financial inducements to either join a winning cause or keep the hell away from anyone who thinks I"d ruin their chances  :-\

Come to Nottingham.

I can"t offer any financial incentives, but at least you wouldn"t be heading South....  ;D

Well both Luton and North London will have strong teams being fielded.  Nottingham is likely to have Kinboshi in it.  I leave the decision up to you.   ;D

You could also pledge your soul to the Northern Cause

If Carslberg were to generate a Poker Team...

It would be Team Dundee!!!!

There is actually a sound piece of thinking which could lead me over to the north. I live a couple of minutes away from Norwich airport and from there could catch a flight to Dublin. If I think about it purely in terms of how long would it take me to get from my flat to the destination in question, it takes me less time to get there than any of the other locations. Decisions,decisions.......

Don"t know if this is a stupid question or not but I"ll ask it anyway.

RE: Online NAtional League.
Will Blue Square be running 30 simultanious MTT"s, one for each division, or will it be one big MTT which then has the final 9 scoring points which go to their chosen club to play off against each other.

NB: I have just sworn in with the Walsall Club, many an APATer will be running as far away from Walsall as possible now before I drag them all down with me!

It"ll be 3 MTTs (one for each Division - North, Central and South) running on BlueSq every Sunday night from 1st February 2009.

The 10 Regional Clubs will play a total of 20 games against each other with the best Club points counting towards qualifying for the Final. The best three individual points winners and the Club Captain from the top 3 Clubs in each Division (and the highest non-ranking other - a 10th place Club if you like), will be invited to play in the Final to decide the winner.

I have taken the following "bits" from the official briefing ;

The league will run for twenty rounds, starting on February 1st.

There will be a total of twenty rounds in the National League, with the top three clubs in each division; and the highest scoring non qualifying club, going forward to compete in the Online National League final on November 14th.

APAT National League rounds will be held every fortnight, on a Sunday evening, starting on February 1st. The buy in for each round will be $10 + $1.
