Oh blimey, in-fighting within my own division. The banter starts and there"s still a month to go before the season starts - they"ll be at each others throats by then  :D

I have a concern over the National league concept:
It looks like there is already the formation of several "super" teams and others wll be barely scraping together 4 players. The competition element will be limited with perhaps 4 or 5 teams with any chance and any one signed up to a minority team having no chance of making the final.
Example of this is in the Northern division where Glasgow and Edinburgh already have more members than the other clubs put together.
Maybe limiting a club to 12 players and having a,b,c,d,,,,, teams for the clubs who have many members.
People will soon realise that they have no chance and the national league games will just be between members from the same 3 clubs trying to get enough points to finish in the top 4 for their club. Unless something is done to make the leagues even in terms of numbers there is a real possibility of this being a bit of a failure, especially as the season goes on .

Do others have thoughts on this matter?

I think this is probably more down to population density of these two cities in relation to the rest of scotland as opposed to a conspiracy

And lets not forget that some of us are over a hundred miles from any club, so there has to be some allowances made

Being a sad git, I"ve just worked out that upto this point 88 people have signed up for the on-line league. almost half (42) have chosen the central division whilst only 17 have picked the South. Now if we"re saying it"s down to population why have we only got 5 players signed for North & South London.

Come on you Southerners!! (South London looks good by the way.)

For scouse et al....

All players in the National League events, including the final, will begin with an equal number of chips.

thank you for answer !
although disappointed  with it means no difference between poss 4th and 1st!
Most league tourneys finals have chips stcks in relation to finish positions.
Is there no scope for this to happen ?? Is it just me that thinks this?
Cheers Ian , Des

It works well in the World Cup  ;)

No one but me actually seems bothered about this lol
But which world cup you on about ??
The poker world cup is x amount of sit and goes then final is chip stacks for points, and football world cup if u win group u play runners up so there fore gain advvantage  but no one cares but me lol !

Yep, but they don"t take the field with 60% of the players that the other team has  ;)
