JP Round has just scooped a nice pot. I got there whilst the action was preflop to see that a very shortstacked Eamon Kelly had raised pot UTG+1 to 1400. JP called along with 3 locals and we went 5-way to the flop.

The flop was a drawtastic and Eamon pushed his remaining stack all in for a bet of 2700. JP flat called and one of the locals also called. The turn was the and JP bet 5k into a dry side pot, and he was rewarded with a call. The river was the and JP bet 7k with the same result, a quick call.

JP declared nuts and showed to scoop, with both players mucking their hands, and Eamon cashed in his orange chip to receive his second 20k stack.

Fun event and fun table with JP "he scores when he wants" Round, Mark Lassman and some locals. Guinness is nice here. I have some chips, JP has more. Mark is trying to make prop bets on other players with odds.

There was a commotion at table 2 so naturally I went to investigate.

It turns out that David Pilkington had min raised Ger Smyth"s big blind. So nothing important then.

Except it was...as a local called the bet, Pat Barry also called and Stu Ward called. Ger obviously called and 5 players saw a flop.

It went mental.Stu open-folded to start it off and Ger checked. Dave bet 2000 and the local raised to 6k. Pat Barry then shoved all in and Ger was in pain. He decided discretion was the better idea and passed eventually, with Pilkington"s cards beating him into the muck. The local only had 10k back before his flop and chucked in his remaining 4k.

Barry had x x and the local had , drawing dead. The dealer dealt the redundant and on the turn and river and the local cashed in for his second stack.

Paul Davis has just lost his first stack to Ger Smyth in a horrible cooler. Paul flopped a full house on a T-T-4 flop holding T-4-5-6, but Ger turned a King holding K-K-x-x and it all went in.

Dave Pilkington has somehow managed to get his stack up to 45k. The rest of the table and everyone else is befuddled.

Mark Lassman has just doubled through JP Round with A-3-4-4, turning a set and rivering a house when the 4 turn gave JP a straight.

Rich Baker has just doubled up when he got it all on on a T-9-2 flop with Q-J-6-5.

He managed to hit a 6 high straight to win the pot

Mark Lass man takes a massive pot on table 1 of about 90k when he gets Alain on the turn with a set against two flush draws and wins.

Just about to go on a 40 minute dinner break. I"ll try and get chip counts but I know the TDs are planning on breaking tables during the breaks so might not be able to do so.
