Excellent work Tom, outstanding considering you were on your own all weekend. Well done to John, Andy & Paul as well as all who cashed.

GL To John with his WCOAP ticket, a well deserved victory tonight  8)

To all the legends I spent the weekend with a huge thank you, hope to see you all again soon!

Why thank you Sir... it was great to see you again and I just wish I had a bit more time to enjoy a drink and a chat with you and the others.

The casino has been fantastic... in addition to the exceptional food (or just a nice change from Grosvenor? - no really, it was very, very good) (and reasonably priced wine!) this is a very nice Casino and Card Room.

My thanks go out to Sam and his team, and whilst playing some "cash" on Friday night it gave me great heart to witness that the standard of dealers her is very, very, very high - in charge of their table without ever being over Authoritative (I REALLY had to google "Authoritative" to get the spelling right but will never be confused again - author - it - ative!) it gave me great hope for the weekend - and it was not misplaced - thank you Sam.

I hope players/members felt the same - it would be good to have feedback as we consider Season 9..... (including negative feedback.. it all helps us make, hopefully, APAT bigger and better... - so go on - take 2 minutes....)

Yup, sterling work Tom, everyone appreciates it. Well done to John on the victory and the WCOAP, well played and to everyone else who played.

Cheers, Andy.

Cheers Tom, likewise would"ve been great to catch up but still great seeing you. Next time  :)

Feedback

Positives - Great location, good sized card room, staff were excellent and dealers generally very good.

Negatives - Having a drink promotion then running out of 2 different draught beers on a busy Saturday night could"ve been planned better & staff were a bit under resourced at spells also. Tables are a bit grubby and side table chips are filthy, would be easy enough to have both cleaned.

thx tom and fountainpark for a fantastic weekend.

great venue and some good poker on display.

Very happy with my first apat final albeit only getting 9th..no complaints.

Banter was excellent

sat next to a whole bunch of apat heroes during the 2 days..rich baker and clare duffy to name but a few.

Always makes the game that much more enjoyable when next to friends

until the next one..ciao

Just home after a fab weekend in Edinburgh.
Thanks very much Tom for all your efforts  this weekend, and it was good to chat about the update possibilities/situation etc. We all know it needs tweaking but you can"t please everyone! Lovely glass of white wine too, thank you :)

I thought the casino was great. Lots of space for everyone and a few eating places nearby. Nice clean toilets and card room seemed very organised. Food was good too.

I think they underestimated the drinking side of APAT though, as they did get low on some beers and I heard several of the lads having a grumble about it, and that was with a lot of the regulars being absent!

It was a long trek north for me, but well worth it as I got to see my favourite Scottish APATers. A fantastic weekend and I"m really glad I made the trip :)

Thanks again Tom.
