WHAT AN ENDING !!!!
Niki_Vegas, the 2014 POTY, needed to win the final leg in order to end up first and hope for the best about his opponents" results. And yet it happened. Down to the final 4 players in the tournament our leader Wolfslang was already out of the tournament but still ahead of the ranking. Only Niki and Nissart were the ones to take first place but only when winning the final tournament. Not so easy when being short all the timeand with Sverdrupp in a major chiplead.
But then everything changed. At first they all came to an almost equal chipcount and then Nissart went out in fourth. Wolfslang dodged one bullet here and had to hope Sverdrupp would keep going and Niki wasn"t able to double his shortstack. But he did AND he ended heads-up.
The 2-1 chiplead by Sverdrupp wasn"t enough to keep Niki from another big victory. Besides BAPT Spa winner he crown himself to VINTRO Ligo Winner.
This also means he has a huge lead in our POTY 2015 ranking but we"re not even half the season so don"t give up for first place !!!
Good game Niki, Good game to everyone else as well and another league will follow soon.
Our nozes to the APAT WCOAP London now and then we"ll kick some more ass in Namur next May.
