Welcome back to Aspers folks.

Today we see the start of the Main Event at midday, with the PLO kicking off at 6pm and day 1b of the Cash Championship starting at 9pm.

I"m sure we"ll see a lot of familiar faces today, so it should be a cracker.

Dann Williams will be running the live update throughout the day.

APAT Stalwart (or Stool) Asa McGrath has already called an all in....yes yes its level 1

Facing an UTG open (125) and 2 peels, Asa peels T9o on the button.  The BB makes up, and 5 see the 567r flop.

All players check the flop, the turn bringing the 8 and completing the rainbow board.

With 675 in the pot, the BB bets 200, the UTG OR then makes it 600.....its folds to Asa who makes it 1600 with the nuts.
The BB opts to fold and the OR peels.

With the pot at 4075 we see a Q on the river (board - 5678Q)

UTG makes it 2500, Asa makes it 6k, UTG ships his stack over the line, as does Asa..................

Asa flips his T9o with a twinkle in his eye, UTG also flips T9o and the dealer has the joy of chopping the pot.

Adam Sharples informs us of his thoughts on his table draw.

Adam Sharples ‏@sharpleaUK
APAT Main Event time...usual sick table draw! #apatpoker

So i took a look.  He is joined by BlueBlood Pokers Dawn Cooke, Irelands Kevin O"Hanlon and recent Razz and Crazy Pineapple FT, Simon Brooke.

Dawn has her iPad at the ready, practising her OFC skills and hoping the Main Event will help her recoup her OFC losses last night.

We have the 1st bustout of the comp, as i am informed by Defending Champion Tristan Chaplin, the action took place on his table.

After a 4b preflop we see Daniel Levy and Adam Malak get all the chips in the middle on an Axx flop.

Daniel shows AJo vs Adams QQ.....No 2 outer for Adam, and he is the first to depart.

Tristan also informs me that he lost about 4k with KK v 45 on a 44x board, but is still sat comfortably with 11k

Couple of chip counts around the room.

Steve Roderick - 24k
Dave Howard - 25k
Jon Young - 38k

Also and interesting hand on Table 16.

Blinds 50/100

Rolandos Jurgilas (MP) opens to 300, Jeremy Brown peels from the Cut Off, unknown BTN (name not on system sadly) 3bets to 1075.  Both players peel. Pot 3375.

Flop  Jc 9d 4c

RJ checks, as does JB, button then cbets 1800, both players call. Pot 8775.

Turn  9h

RJ checks, JB checks, button bets 2200, RJ calls and JB folds. Pot 13175.

River  7h

RJ checks again, Button bets 3000.....RJ then check jams for 8250 total.

After a long tank the button calls.  RJ shows  7d 7s for a rivered boat, whilst the button mucks in disgust.

RJ up to 29675.

Dwayne Stacey down to 11.5k after a confrontation with Jeremy Brown.

JB opens UTG to 400 and Dwayne is the only caller from MP. Pot 1025

Flop  8s 5s 4c

JB continues for 800, DS calls. Pot 2625

Turn 6c

JB bets 1500 on turn, Dwayne calls. Pot 5625

River  Jh

JB bets 2300, Dwayne calls. JB shows  Jc 7c and Dwayne mucks.........

Shortly after Dwayne busts.

UTG+2 limps 200...MP limps 200, Jeremy Brown makes it 1200 in the C/O, and Dwayne shoves 10200 with  10s 10c. UTG+2 folds, MP reraises to 25k, JB folds.

Its Dwaynes  10s 10c vs MPs has  Qs Qh and Dwayne doesnt improve.

(NB - As soon as i have a list of players names, ill be able to add more than just MP/CO/UTG etc)

Flop is  10c 8d 4s

UTG+2 Checks, Mike jams his final 3k with  Ac 10h, HJ reships for 15k and UTG+2 Snap calls his remaining 10k....

BIG POT BREWING!!!

Pot is 26k in total

Just back from the break.

Blinds 100/200 and 194 players regged so far....can we hit 200? I think so.

Will do a chip count browse, post ITT for players you want me to find.

Interesting hand on Table 2.

Joseph Craig opens to 400 (100/200) in MP, CO peels and Simon Brooke 3b the button to 1350.  With the action back on Joseph, he elects to reopen the action to 3300.  Our peeler gets out of the way and Simon calls.

Pot 7300.

Flop:  2c 2h 7s

Joseph leads for 3700.....Simon dwells.....dwells and folds.

Joseph Craig up to 23k.

Table 2 could be one to watch, as it seems that there are some meta games starting and many vying for the role of Table Captain.
