European Championship, Season 1
G Casino Luton, August 2007



I min cashed, finished in 23rd spot.

I remember my starting table being quite loud, mainly because of this chap



Towards the end of the day I got moved tables and sat next to someone that reminded me of that bloke from The Royale Family



I remember wondering why a short ginger bloke would want to take a photo of me.

And then having a conversation with the aforementioned short ginger bloke at the end of the day, who was very keen to know if I"d had a "good time"  :)

Can"t believe that was nearly 8 years ago.  Wow.

Of course, I"d met Mr Duffy pre-APAT but there probably (hopefully) aren"t any pictures of those homegames.

Can"t be sure but December 2006 in Newcastle I think.

Who do I remember.. Hmmm have to admit it was the beautiful Maylis ::)



Also some guy with a tatty baseball cap and sunglasses, sounded like he was from the Midlands.  ;)

Same 1st event as Leigh, Luton August 07. All I can remember is it was two weeks before my adventures in the first WSOPE and I used it as a warm up for that so it was a real confidence boost to exit before dinner.

Have added some photos for you Carl.

Not sure how you are going to explain the fact that Maylis played that event the previous year though. ;)

She must have been doing her presenting role in 2010,  you might get away with it  ;D

Indeed she wasn"t playing.. Just adding some glamour to the proceedings  ;)

Dublin at the Fitz Season 1.

Talked to Des a little bit about it at the weekend with the Sky Cameras there and Tikay.

Had Kinboshi, Richard Davies and Steve Lacey all at my first table.

Other names i remember are a couple who aren"t with us in any more in Big Laz (Patrick Tochel) and Ericstoner (Brendan Hartnett).
