Nope, I"m guessing they"re block booked in advance for sale onwards...or they"ve restricted booking until now.

Of course, they may release these shortly. They"re not the cheapeast anyway normally.

Alternatives as usual in the Travel Tips thread I just enabled.

EDIT - Available on Expedia (£125 pn).

RE-EDIT

APAT have reserved a limited number of "twin bed" rooms at the Regency Hotel for Sat, Sun and Mon nights which are available to members at a total room (only) cost of £210 - please PM IrishTom to reserve one (and advise the name of anyone you are sharing with - your names will be added to the booking).

Tom....

Do we have the full IPO schedule yet?

It makes a difference (for me) as to how long I come for...and I really want to.

This is awesome.  I think the tie in with the IPO is a perfect fit.  Looks like plenty of affordable tournaments in and around the APAT event and the IPO Main Event.  Makes the cost of a trip to Dublin worthwhile.

Well done Tom, this could be the future :)

Have to admit it looks great. So difficult for me with my job now but I am (currently) off on the Saturday and Monday so a trip to Dublin looks a distinct possibility :)

Purely Personal Opinion

I"m more inclined to fly out on Saturday, return Tuesday right now. The schedule is Hold"Em heavy and other than either the APAT Main or the PLO I"m not really bothered.

I may dabble in PLO cash if I"m rolled for it by then (which is unlikely) and my liver probably couldn"t take 2 full days on non-poker.

Hotel-wise, I"m tending towards the HI Express. Free shuttle, Free breakfast, Free WIFI and it"s a chain so you know what you are getting...pretty cheap too right now.

Also, it"s right next to its sister hotel (the Crowne Plaza) so we"d have two bars to choose from.

I know the Best Western Skylon is pretty close, so that"s another option but it costs more and doesn"t have as much included...at least as a far as I can tell.

Noticed the IPO is being run by FT this year and not Boyle Poker.

Yeah am thinking I will play the day one on Saturday and the APAT on Sunday.

Hopefully FTP will be running good sats too.

Free to all staying guests, the adjacent Regency Health Club and Spa offers an indoor swimming pool, well-equipped gym, sauna and a steam room with a range of beauty and pamper treatments available for an extra charge, including hot stone massage, Indian head massage and facials.
