Event#41.. still running 3 from final table Daniel Negreanu looking good for a slot and the jewel in the crown Chidders chip leader looking for a FT and dare i not bok him a bracelet #chiddersftw

Steve has both Chidders and Daniel in his squad so if they both FT he has a garunteed 10 points or 15 points if either of them win.. I have Chidders as my skipper so if he makes FT i garuntee 10 points or 20 if he binks.. so Steve will be hoping for a Negreanu win and Chidders FT to overtake me at top spot.

APAT players have been doing the business again in the WSOP. 

Linda Iwaniak finished 77th in the Seniors event for $5,509. John Miller was 91st for $3,886.

Brendan Byrne"s brother Sean made his annual assault on the WSOP, finishing 56/4193 for $8,000, to go with his 38/4425 last year in this event. This was, actually, the second cash in this tournament for all three of them.

Quite a few people having both scorers and a few having one of them as captain. Richard was the only one to have both and have one of them as his captain.

With 41 events completed, it is neck-and-neck at the top. Carl is just two points ahead of Steve, and you can"t get any closer than that. Barrie just three behind Steve, Richard just two behind him and so on.

With the position so close, there is a lot of pressure now on the players to perform in the remaining events. Mercier, Chidwick, Negreanu, Merson, Hellmuth. Who will hold strong? Who will crack under the pressure?
