Mercier, Danzer, Colman, Ashton, Bonomo, Moorman, Schemion, Lisandro, Bjorin, Cody and Mortensen are through to Day 2.


Smith, Seiver, Katchalov, Allyn Shulman and Chidwick are out.

Any news on my unique player Mr McCorkell? My only chance of breaking into the top 3.

So I have had three players play the ME so far and two are out on Day One.

Really need all of the other five to play 1C and for a couple to go deep. Hellmuth would be nice!

We have bloody loads of players in action today in Day 1C of the Main.

Four hours in, and confirmed participants from our teams so far are Merson, Linde, Cada, Harwood, Kessler, Kassela, Silver, Negreanu, Ivey, Finger, Deadman, Grospellier, Boeree, Anderson, Parker, Jacobson, Dempsey, Musumeci, Kelly, Glantz, Ho, Mizrachi, McDonald, Chiu, Kenney, Kitai, Drinan, McCorkell, Somerville, Benger, Geilich, Spittles, Polk and Trickett.

Carl, if you could keep an eye on our players in the Pavilion Roon, I"ll take Brasilia, and we"ll have to wing it on any others. Maybe Adam can help out with that.

Linde is already out and Merson is down to 3,000 chips.

It"s still a bit early for Hellmuth, but he is confirmed to be joining the tournament later today.

Bakes is confirmed to be swerving the Main so, apart from the few selectees who don"t appear to have played anything in the Series, our only players not accounted for so far are Wheeler and Selbst, but they might be around. Any sightings welcome.


It"s a bit surprising that everyone who wants to be here appears to have made it, as this was Vegas yesterday:

Hellmuth, Deadman, Negreanu & Finger through to Day Two for me to add to Moorman. Not sure what happened to Ho. Guess she went out. At least all eight played, realising their responsibilities representing my Fantasy Team.

Five players into Day Two is pretty good. Not sure how many Carl, Tom & Barrie have but am happy until I hear they have eight each!

It looks like you"ll have the most players through out of the top four, Steve, as the others all have four left.

Tom has got Kitai and Danzer through, along with Hellmuth and Negreanu, but has lost Seiver, Chidwick, Selbst and Smith.

Barrie has Hellmuth, Negreanu, Mercier and Cody but has lost Chiu, Selbst, Chidders and Bakes.

Carl has Ausmus, Kessler, Mercier and Danzer alive, with Merson, Linde and Chids out and no news yet on Ho, who is missing presumed dead.

So from reading the above posts, I have Negreanu (who was going home), Hellmuth, Mercier, Cody and possibly the missing presumed dead Maria Ho through. If McCorkell, Lisandro, and Tiger Woods have made it through, Im possibly in with a shout of catching the top 3.

From what i can see i have Danzer, Anderson, Parker, Hellmuth, Negreanu & Kelly left after Day 1.

Still awaiting the official result.

However, I believe that Glantz, Ivey, Negreanu, Grospellier, Mizrachi, Hellmuth, McCorkell, Parker, Kelly, Finger, Kessler, Somerville, Kitai, Trickett, Anderson, Silver, Deadman, Benger, Musumeci, Drinan, Dempsey, McDonald and probably Ho are through.

Merson, Chiu, Boeree, Polk, Jacobson, Kassela, Harwood and Cada are kaput.

No information so far on Kenney, Spittles or Geilich.

McCorkell and Ivey are through, Dave, and Lisandro went through yesterday, so you have a full set with all eight players into Day 2. You could still win this. If all your players cash, you only need to get three or four of them on the final table to win (so longer as they are the right three or four and not the ones everyone else has).

Still no official results for 1C. While we"re wait, here are some poker players who have qualified for Day 2. Do you have them in your team?

Adam has finally finished typing the numbers into his spreadsheet and the Day 1C results have been published.

No sign of Kenney or Spittles (or Selbst), but Geilich has made it through.

Ho confirmed into Day 2 as well.
