Yes George.. We discussed a seperate ME sweat like previous years but decided to keep it as just a normal bracelet event, some argue the size of the field warrants more points etc, but the same could go for the mega stack, lucky 777 millionaire maker etc which have even larger fields..

He"s already a star, Suzanne - 1st in EPT High Roller, 5th in another EPT High Roller, 1st in GUKPT Grand Final. He has a great future behind him.

I don"t doubt that you"ll be picking him again!

But who was the other young lad you put your faith in?

It"s getting near the bubble now. Just over 1,100 left, with 1,000 to be paid.

It has been a pretty good day for our players. Only Colman, Finger and Moorman have definitely be knocked out.

Negreanu, Hellmuth, Kelly, Bonomo, Glantz, Bjorin, Cody, Kitai, Danzer and McCorkell are definitely still in. Duhamel is half in, but hasn"t lost the last of his chips yet.

The only ones I can"t see any news on are Zhang and Carrel.

Carrel is still there low-stacked and just survived a flip sixty eliminations away from the money.

So, the players are on a dinner break. When they return, it is likely to take quite a long time to get down to 1,000 players.

Steve has lost two of his players, but is still a big favourite. If all our remaining players make the points, and none of them reaches the final table, he will win.

He would collect three points, with Hellmuth being his captain, and would finish on ninety-two. Also having Hellmuth as captain, Tom would pick up five points for his four players and would overtake Carl, finishing on ninety-one. Carl would just receive one point to finish on ninety and Barrie would have eighty-nine, having collected a point each for his three remaining players.

Of course, it might not work out like that............

Play has just finished for the day, with 661 players still in the tournament.

With the exception of Zhang, who I can find no mention of, and presumably must have fallen unannounced, all our remaining players made the money and, more importantly, the points, which means that the top of the league now reads:

90 Carl
89 Barrie

However, if we get one or more players onto the final table, this will change, so it"s still not over.

Carrel and Kelly have been knocked out ITM, but the others are all still there. End-of-day chip counts have not yet been announced.

Thought I would be smart and go against Hellmuth this year as everyone else would choose him.. Nearly worked out for me, big game changer for me was Mercier not winning his second bracelet and skipper Chidwick not claiming that elusive bracelet..

Hellmuth scoring a mahoosive 36+ points for those who had him as skipper was where the game was won..

Already looking forward to next years competition.. I"m gonna suggest next year there will be NO catergories and we pick 8 players at random.?

Kitai could also win it for Tom.

I"m going to go for the underdog and bet that Barrie comes from the back and wins with a Cody FT.

I just hope that Cody and Bonomo don"t both get there, cos Suzanne would catch me, with the point that Carrel has already earned. These lads have definitely performed well since Suzanne took them in hand, but I"m hoping that at their age they"ll run out of stamina and will be feeling drained going into Day 4.
