Grant "Santino67" Speirs has posted but not on whether he"d be interested / available to play.

I"d be delighted to play for APAT & Scotland and would absolutely make myself available if picked, but there are others far more worthy as I"m still a novice (ask Nigel Johnson, he was at my table in London  :D )

With regard team selection I must point out that posting here is not a requirement of selection as not all members use the forum. I will consider all posts/PM"s/emails etc. with nominations and information on potential players. I have also asked Des for some details to get me started and will be contacting some potential players over the following weeks.

Glad to see this topic has gained some interest over the last few days.
I repeat my earlier comment that not all members use the forum so posting on here is not essential.
All your thoughts are most welcome though.

Can anyone tell me when these teams will be announced / finalised as I see no dates published on any of the original posts?

After I get the info from Des when the WCOAP is finished I expect to contact potential players within a few days.

The season finishes this coming weekend and I would expect the captains to approach their intended selections from that point.  Whether a player has responded to this thread should not have a bearing on their potential selection.

what he said.

Definitely do it guys.  Brighton is errrrrr, delightful in November.  I would highly recommend it.  Maybe we could get a game organised for the Friday night ?

Unfortunately i"ll no longer be able to make this event anymore, going to Manchester the following weekend to dance to some crazy music and probs wont be able to afford a trip to Brighton a week earlier.

Good luck to whoever"s picked though, i"ll be cheering ye"z on from here as per...

Good luck to Santino, Billy and Kenny - hope at least one or two of you get into the team!

i"ll be going if Mair is selected - a game of poker and a few small sherries sounds ideal
