While there is no doubting Paul"s ability, he hasn"t yet managed to sneak into the APAT top 100, despite several attempts at nationals.

APAT Top 100

That said, it does seem a generous price....

Des, that APAT Top 100 list isn"t right.  For some winners it shows their cash prize plus their package.  For others, it just shows the cash prize.

Just thought I"d mention it.

At some point I want to over every single listing and check they"re (a) correct and (b) consistent.

But this might take a while so I"ve put it off for a bit.  :-[

Yes, we"d seen that and it will be corrected with THM.  The point remains relevant about Paul however  ;)

I don"t think that the Hendon Mob database includes all the Vienna cashes either.  Well, mine isn"t included anyway.  And how do I get myself changed from an English flag to a Welsh one ?  (I think I may be opening myself up to insult with this question, but do your worst guys)  ;D

des, just a quick question.. you spelt my name wrong in the welsh national bradshaw instead of redshaw (it was late at the end of the 1st day, and every1 does it!) any chance it could be changed to the correct name... would be in the top 50 then!! well probably only for a week at least!!! :P

i know its sounds trivial but top 50 sounds better than 91st!

Des,

Further investigation, and I"m on there twice aswell.  Leigh Wiltshire and Leigh Wintshire. Neither of which are very good poker players anyway.  ;D

Nor have I... and I"m only 80/1.  ???

However, I don"t think that a sample size of 12 tournaments, of which Paul has only played a handful, is very representative of someone"s ability.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

A little competition for you (as usual, 1st prize will
be a a couple beers on Des!)...

My e/w selection is hidden in this post. He"s cashed
3 times in Vegas tournaments, one of them was the
Bellagio Cup in 2006. He mostly plays cash
Omaha online nowadays (according to his blog).
You know who it is yet?

Why thank you kind Sir.

Lets look foward to a nice little return ;) - I stand to win more from the bet than from the competition itself! lol

Your welcome.

Get it won and the champagne is on me! Unless, of course, my price goes out to a backable level (>200/1), then I"ll be happiest if you come 2nd to me!  ;D

Just out of interest (as THM is banned at work) who is APAT's number one?

Yes, agree with that and for what its worth, when APAT submitted the proposed odds list to Blue Square, Paul was at 80 to 1.  However a number of the proposed prices have moved, one being Paul - as to why, I"ve no idea.

Your performance in cashing at one of the largest NLHE events ever held is why you are at 80"s.
