Was he wearing a huge hat?

How did I know you were going to ask that.....?  ;D

Was he applying the principles of Razz by any chance ???

He would never go out so early in a deepstack tourney

Kieran O"Leary has become our first casualty, hitting top two pair on the flop against Chris Webber.  Webber made the straight on the turn and the chips went in - with O"Leary having extra outs to make the nut flush.  Kieran failed to hit and we"re down to 69.

That is a valid point.  Definitely not before the food break.

So, not a "nut" flush then ?  ;D

Apologies Des, you must be under a little pressure.

Alan Lake has just departed after his trip fives failed to hold up on a dangerous board.  It was always likely that non experienced Omaha players were going to chase their draws harder than might be expected and chips are beginning to move around a good deal under those circumstances.

Alan Lake responding to a video interview request.

Alan:  "No, I don"t want to talk about being one of the first out of an Omaha tournament"

APAT:  "But Alan, we can talk about the International Championship...."

Alan:  "I especially don"t want to talk about that, you should see the pm"s I"ve been receiving"

APAT:  "C"mon Alan, APAT members want to know what you"ve got to say...."

Alan:  "Have your people talk to my people"

I think he wants appearance beer.....

Jon Woodfield has just gone out when his nut flush lost to quads.  Jon was involved in a very large pot in an earlier level, losing to the nut flush.  Bottom line, we"ve lost one of the favourites....
