Vic Membership
« on: August 24, 2008, 01:13:54 AM »
Does anyone know if the Vic has the ability to simply add Vic membership onto my G Luton membership card in the same way that Walsall could?

I"m thinking of the planet (and the thickness of my wallet). The world really doesn"t need multiple membership cards for different venues in the same ownership.

I think they can do that Ken.  You would need to complete their membership form in any event.

Hi Ken,

If you fill in the online registration form for the Vic (link on player briefing), when you arrive at the casino they just take your existing membership card and activate it for there.  I did that when I went to Blackpool and no extra card was issued to me.

I use the same membership card for Luton, Walsall, Manchester and Blackpool. Can"t imagine that the Vic would require a separate card.

I only have one Grosvenor card, and am a member at The Vic as well.

You will be able to complete one on the day Anthony, so don"t worry about this.  Please ensure you get there in plenty of time and bring ID.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Assumed they would be able to, but wasn"t totally sure given the different branding of the Gs.

Interestingly, the Luton G isn"t on the list of exiting casinos when you select which one you"re a member of (although the Thanet G is!).

I remain to be convinced whether they will have done anything with on-line membership forms - Luton certainly ignored it when I joined there.

It is usually a futile exercise.  In fact, I think that only one Grosvenor has ever "received" an online application that I"ve filled in.

I was in the vicinity of the Casino on Sunday so I went in and became a member. There was not any form to fill in. I just produced my driving licence and had my photo taken.

I"m 99% sure they won"t let you in half naked.

I"m kinda scared to ask, but why do you hate wearing trousers at the poker table?  Is it all tables?  Do you wear trousers when you eat out in restaurants?

Possibly your home game is strip poker and you like sort of buy-in with the equivalent of a short stack as it were?

And you still haven"t taken the hint ?
