Poker Goals For 2016

We all have things we"d like to achieve within the game of poker.  For some it"s to make a Day 2 of an APAT event, for others it might be to cash in a WSOP event in Vegas.

Setting goals can help focus your game to achieve that next level.

So, what one thing would you like to achieve in 2016 that you are yet to accomplish within the poker world ?

I"d take any final table during 2016.  That may include arranging a Sit n Go Homegame late on in the year if it"s not looking good

A WSOP cash for me, or at least another winning Vegas trip - got 2 1/2 weeks booked with some of Team Gotham next June.

With a very possible work move overseas looming (to a non poker playing country), it may very well be my final poker hurrah. So time to make hay

Definitely play more APAT events and improve my ranking  

Need to improve on my one bronze medal!

Think Vegas will have to wait until 2017, but still hoping to make it this year (son"s 18th Birthday takes precedence).

Goals for 2016....

Still got the WCOAP to come to try to finish 1 place higher than than my Silver medal of 2015. Not made a very good defence of my POTY from last season.

Hoping for another Vegas trip in 2016 and would love to enter a WSOP event.

Would like to play an APAT event sober(ish) and not have to struggle in the early stages of Day 2 nursing a hangover.

I wouldn"t mind doing well in one of the Sunday Stars comps.

Initial goal for 2016 is to qualify for one of the DTD/PP football ground comps..

Dream world stuff is to win the DTD event at Old Trafford, I"d settle for a decent cash right now though.

In 2016
To reach the Final Table in tournaments in four different countries, Austria, America, Ireland and England.

To cash in at least one Apat and one 25/25 Series/or other GUKPT event.

To spend at least two hours on average per week studying poker strategy or reviewing hand history
