PossiblyDefinitely, as I"m still flush with cash from Dublin and I"m already spending the winnings from the truimphant Welsh team in the forthcoming Brighton event.

Yeah, I was wondering that too. Des, do you have more information on this event? There have been half-a-dozen satellites, with one seat each. I have seen a few people mentioning buying-in directly, but not that many. I might buy in if I knew more about it. Are you expecting many runners? What would we playing for? How many pros & who? Hellmuth should be finished at the Empire by then. I know you may not have exact answers but could you fill us in a bit on what you are expecting?

I can"t answer the questions on number of runners, but I know Des was hoping early exits from the London Leg of the EPT will increase numbers, so exact numbers might not be known until the day.

The APAT Masters pro-am will be played at the G Casino in Luton, on October 4th & 5th, with play starting at 2.30pm on both days.

This is the first APAT event open to both amateur and professional players and will feature a £300 buy in, with no registration fee, and added value in the shape of an expenses paid entry to the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final worth around $8,000.  There will also be a free buffet on day one and for the finalists on day two.

Players will start the event with 10,000 chips on a 40 minute clock.

Usual APAT structure, with great value of no fee and an $8000 added prize.

If the so called "Pros" (especially those at the Vic) get to hear about this with no reg fee plus the added package....I"m sure a fair few will be up for it.

I"d say we are looking at a min 40....hopefully nearer double that.

Is BlueSQ running a book on this event, or will that not be practical with the expected late entries?
