A few hands later, blinds 800/1600

Adrian Lack makes it "pot" for 4k pre flop.

Stephen Thompson says "pot" again and it is 14.4k.

Adrian puts all of his chips across the line, around 25k and Stephen makes the call with ever so slightly less chips.

Stephen, at risk, has Ad 2d 9d 9s

Adrian"s got Ah 7s A s Kd

"no ace" says Stephen...

Qh Ac 6h and Stephen"s hopes are dimmed.

8h turn doesn"t help and it is all but over for Stephen.

Qc turn and it is over, Stephen is sent to the rail and Adrian, effectively, doubles up.

Texas Hold'em

Andrew is raising every hand and Richard gets his stack in pre-flop:

Richard    Ad 5h
Andrew    2s 2h

Flop  9s 10c Js  and Andrew is nearly there.

Turn  5c
River  8c

and Richard gets his double-up.

Could the come-back be on?

Texas Hold'em

And they go again. After Pre-Flop raises, they rest of the chips are in on the Flop.

Flop  Qd Kc 3c

Richard    7d 7h
Andrew    9d Js

Andrew has ten outs. If Richard holds and doubles again, there won"t be much difference between his and Andrew"s stacks.

Turn    5s
River  10s

Andrew hits one of the ten and eliminates Richard.

3rd Place - Richard Breen, winning an APAT Bronze Medal and £300.

We are down to 16 players on two tables.

Blinds at 1500/3000, average stack around 47k.

Players will be on a break in about half an hour; remaining player list, with chip counts, then.

Michael Leigh moves all in from early position for around 15k.

It folds to Rodders in the big blind who makes the call.

Rodders has Jh Ah 5d 2d

Michael shows Qh Qc 2s 5h

The board 6c 3c 7h 6d 7s means a chop pot with Michael taking the high and Rodders the low.

Heads-up: Andrew Murrie 278k  v Jozsef Erdos 26k

Who is your money on? Andrew has had an extraordinary run over the last couple of hours.

He has been playing like a man possessed and it appears that he intends that to continue.

Keeping his eye on the ball, he says he is not going to fold any hand and suggests that Jozsef doesn"t either.

Serving now for the match. Can he close it out?

Noelle Baquiche and Michael Leigh get into a mini "pot" battle pre flop until Michael is all in for 10.2k

Michael flips Ad Jd 7d 8s

He winces when he sees Jc 2c Ah Ac in Noelle"s hand.

6h Qd 9s Qs Qh board means there is no low hand and Noelle"s Ah Ac makes a full house and send Michael to the rail.

First hand, and they are all-in.

Jozsef     Ac 2c
Andrew   7c 2s

Yes, you read it right.

The dealer lays out the community cards:

9d 6h Jh 7h 8s

And we have a winner!!

Jozsef Erdos finishes 2nd, winning an APAT Silver Medal and £475.

Well played to Andrew (who really does live in Wimbledon) and indeed all the medallists and all who reached the final-table. It was a tough tournament, but played in terrific spirit by everyone.

Players in the PLO8 Championship are now on a 15 minute break and, as promised, here is the list of the 12 remaining players and chip stacks:

Kevin Demunter - 28.7k
Laszio Kezdody - 20k
Rodders - 75k
Robert Gerrard - 60k
Noelle Baquiche - 48.5k
Edgard Uribe - 25.5k

Philip Davidson - 60.5k
Chris Kelly - 48k
Michel Sealtiel - 100.5k
Piotr Pietrych 24k
Kamil Mierzejewski - 92.5k
Adrian Lack - 167k (chip leader)

Players will return to blinds at 2000/4000, Average stack 62.5k.

Tom Clark went out in 13th, right before the break...I didn"t quite catch the hand but it all went in on the flop and the cards didn"t go Tom's way.

It folds to Kevin in the small bind who raises to 8k and says to Rodders, in the big blind, "I will show...for the respect"

Rodders replies "I don"t know what that means...but I fold"

True to his word, Kevin shows 3"s and 5"s.

Kamil makes it 9k to go, Philip goes all in for 26.5k and Kamil calls.

Philip turns Jc Ac Js 8s

Kamil has 5h 6h 4s 6d

They see 7c 2h Ad 3d 10c

Kamil gets the straight for the high and has the low and knocks Philip out in 11th place.
