#17 Day 2 Main Event

Lisa makes it 228k from mid position.

Directly to her left, Kaveh moves all in.

Lisa quickly calls and tables Ah Qs

Kaveh says "we"re racing" and shows Jc Jd

Chip stacks are close but Kaveh is sure he is slightly covered.

10s 2c 5s on the flop and no real change, Kaveh needs to avoid a queen, an ace, or a combination of straight/flush cards...

Qh on the turn and Kaveh goes way behind and will need to see a jack to stay in the tournament...

Js on the river!! and Kaveh takes the pot!

The count is Kaveh has 1,015,000

Lisa is left with around 190,000.

Chips flying everywhere on this final table!

#17 Day 2 Main Event

Lisa finds her spot, under the gun and moves all in for 184k.

Marco makes the call and Lisa shows Kd Qs
Marco has 10h 10d

Interesting flop of Qd Ac Kc as Lisa makes two pair but Joel has the re-draw to the straight...Lisa shouts for "no jack!!"

9d Lisa still ahead and set to double...

4d and she makes it past the post and will double to around 400k.

Lisa, short stacked with around 320k, moves all in under the gun.

Andy makes the call from the button and is joined by Marco from the big blind.

The main pot is now around 1 million in chips.

The flop is 6c 10d Qc

Marco quickly announces all in and moves a stack across the line.

Andy dwells...and eventually folds.

Lisa and Marco show their cards. Marco has Qh 9h and Lisa shows Ac 5h

Lisa is behind and needs to hit an ace...

8c on the river means Lisa does not improve and she will exit the tournament.

A round of applause for a gallant effort and hand shakes all round.

Lisa Greer finishes in 6th place and takes home £1650.

Andy and Kaveh get into a betting war pre flop and we see Andy eventually moving all in and Kaveh makes the call.

Andy has just over 600k and shows Qs Qd

Kaveh has him covered but is behind with 6c 6d

5c 2d 9d Js 10c and Andy doubles up courtesy of Kaveh.

Well, decide for yourselves folks...

Blinds 30,000/60,000 ante 5,000

Joel makes it 125k from under the gun and finds 3 callers - Kaveh on the button, Matt in the small blind and Andy in the big.

They all check a Qh 9s 6s flop and see a Qd turn

Matt checks and Andy checks behind. Joel bets 63k.

Kaveh says 220k.

Matt speedily gets out of the way and Andy makes the call.

As does Joel...river card...

Qc

Andy reaches for stacks of blues and bets 300k.

Joel folds and Kaveh says "all in" for around 650k total.

Andy fairly quickly picks up his cards...and folds.

Kaveh taps the table with his cards and mucks them.

He scoops a pot of around 1.2 million...

Marco moves all in and Matt makes the call.

Matt is at risk and has 7s 7h

Marco is behind with Kc Jh

Ac 3c 9c and Matt stays ahead but needs to avoid jacks, kings and clubs...

Js on the turn and Matt goes behind and is now drawing to only the 7d...

8s on the river and Matt is out.

Another round of applause from this incredibly humble and well spirited final table.

Matt Carter takes 5th place and collects £2060, a nice addition to his team silver earlier this week representing England.
