APATers in WCOOP-10 $215 RAZZ
« on: September 09, 2008, 21:53:01 PM »
Just a quick note to let you know that we have (amongst others I"m sure) Mary "Mair38" Martin, Lou "lousaban" Saban and Mike "mikesaban" Saban in the WCOOP Razz Event on Stars (Tourney ID 200800010) which started 20 mins or so ago.

I don"t know sh!t about Razz but it"s gotta be good viewing.

yup, tried and failed.  Cant believe the many chasers in that level of tournament.  they chased to 7th and hit lower than me many times even showing KQ etc and i had 7 hi from 5th.

Ach well was an experience.

GL to those remaining.

I"m such a donkey.

3 hours and 40 minutes of good solid decision making gave me a healthy stack (about 50% over the average).

Then 20 minutes of temporary insanity to knock me out.

??? :"( >:( :"( :"( :"(

I"m going to be kicking myself over those bad decisions in those 20 minutes at least until the start of next year"s WCOOP.

I finished 111th at 5am for $540

Got busted out by some high stakes player Called Hoss. He did have the wheel so no complaints.

Added to my 46th place in the 5 Card draw for $552 puts me slightly in profit for the WCOOP series.

So tired now but great fun at the time mixing it with the top names.

That"s it for me now until the HORSE on Saturday night.

:) Of course, I never got around to taking today off work, so if I had gone deep I might have had some explaining to do this morning.

(maybe...
"I"m going to be late in for work"
"Why"s that?"
"I"ve been playing poker all night"
"but you"re on your way in now"
"No, I"m still playing - give it another 2 or 3 hours"

- I think that would have gone down well - :D )

And still it goes on ...

Down to 7 left with 7th paying $4k, 1st paying $43k. I fear it may have had to have been 1st place and a future sponsorship deal with Stars you would have needed to warrant making that phone call Jon.

I"ve been railing "dinho-style" in this and from what I understand about Razz (not much), he"s pretty darn good. He"s 3rd in chips atm.
