The more I keep reading through the Season 10 Schedule the more I love it.
Added GUKPT seats for the online series is just amazing, they are prestigious events in the UK calendar and I had already planned on trying to qualify for one or two of these again this year.

Wouldn"t it be a great experience to win a Vegas package and meet up over there celebrating together. Especially with the newlyweds Mr and Mrs Fandango  :) Big congratulations.
There seems to be a few routes to Vegas via APAT or Grosvenor in achieving this. I will certainly be having a go.
Hopefully it will be as mutually beneficial to Grosvenor as it is to APAT with added revenue in their Casinos and online, because the added value donated by Grosvenor looks like a generous package.  Great negotiating skills by Des and his Team.
I play regularly at Blackpool G and Manchester G. The staff are top notch. Very friendly and professional. If you haven"t been before you won"t be disappointed.

From a personal point of view I enjoy travelling around to play poker. Playing the GUKPT and playing a Las Vegas Bracelet Event are two things I would be striving to achieve anyway, and to top it off the WCOAP is at my local. This is a Dream Schedule for me.
Happy Anniversary APAT.

I realise their many different needs and no doubt hundreds of considerations , but to not have any events in London ( I"m not counting Luton as London ) is a real shame .
It would seem on the face of it that Belgiium seems more important than London !
Apologises if this is out of turn , or more events are forthcoming , but on the face of it I"m disappointed :-(

Very much appreciate and respect your comments.  We"ve been to London for the past three seasons, so it"ll miss a season, but we will be back in S11 with something big, I"ve no doubt.  That aside, we do have Luton and Portsmouth in the South this season and it is the nature of the tour, that a bit of travel enriches the experience from time to time.

Personally speaking I"ve only been with APAT for two seasons and unlike the old / retired brigade I have to work for a living and include within this long work hours . I would like nothing more than to take weekends off and travel the UK playing poker but neither work nor the family would allow this :-(
Shame the anniversary year isn"t considering London and surely one of the best poker rooms in the UK at the Vic couldn"t have been considered !! But hey ho will wonder what might have been and to echo other comments re only holdem being the choice .... Shame !!

Everybody works for a living who plays APAT, including the management, and we all seem to be able to travel to participate for parts of the season.  It"s a national tour and if you need to have one on your doorstep, then fair enough - this season it"s not going to be for you.  Old / retired brigade indeed.

Hats off to Grosvenor - a £550 GUKPT seat added to each £22 online tourney is brilliant!!  Within APAT, online poker has always played second fiddle to live poker (and probably rightly so), but for some of us, online is pretty much our only option.

Nice to see some new locations, or returns to old locations that have been absent for a while, and love that WCOAP is outside London for a change.   Bit of a shame there are no midlands locations (love Coventry!), but guess the tour can"t visit every casino - would be a very long tour!

Although I understand some of the reasons behind it I must express my disappointment that other than WCOAP the entire UK APAT schedule is now NLHE only.

Extending the range of poker variants available to be played in casinos used to be, as I recall, one of the goals of APAT...I, for one, am very sorry to see that left behind.

Sundays will be the poorer for it...IMO.

Agree with this.  Not having the "traditional" side events at all is a real shame.

Yeah, but, Vegas baby!

Oh yes - nice one. Vegas pass for 2017 is already negotiated - so Vegas 2017 is going to be awesome (especially when I take down one of the packages.)

I"m already going to Vegas in November this year :)  Vegas for the 10th anniversary is a huge carrot but it"s a shame the side events miss out as I found them an integral part of an APAT weekend if you bust Day 1.  That being said, the plans for the online games through Grosvenor looks excellent so I"ll support most if not all of those.

Yeah but you have some pretty pricey hotels in Spa and they"re filling up quick. I can"t commit right now and I"m already away twice in July (Luton / Yarm).

Maybe... but just a maybe.
