Grosvenor and APAT information Thread
« on: May 10, 2016, 16:53:52 PM »
Hi all,

Delighted that we have partnered with the best and friendliest poker association in the UK. This thread will be used to inform you of any value we would like to highlight, special offers and also get some feedback. This will not be used as a customer support thread, please go through our customer support team with any issues. We are aware of a lot of teething issues with our new software but hope to get these ironed out in the coming months.

At present we are running a "play your way" promotion that has seen VERY little activity so far. The first freeroll did not run due to low numbers so 13 players got immediate qualification to the £4,000 final (capped at 99 players).

All you have to do is play 25 hands of raked poker at stakes of .10/.20 or higher and you will qualify. The winner of the final will also win a signed photo of the England 1966 team and replica shirt.

get involved!

Goliath qualifers have started, 5 guaranteed seats to the 2016 Goliath at 21:00 tonight. £5 step tournament into that at 19:00. good luck, probably will be good value in the early sats.

Vegas, goliath and GUKPT sats are running, with heaps of value lately.

Good luck, Alex

Grosvenor are re-jigging their satellites for live events this week, so we should have APAT satellites up by the end of the week along with an £82 Newcastle holding tank.  Holding tanks for future events will follow shortly after that.

Registered for the Newcastle holding tank last week (total cost £82.50) then checked today and I had been unregistered and given the buy in back.

I have re joined the holding tank today (total cost £82).

Is this correct or am I going mad? (is it connected to the change in cost?)

If you register in the holding tank and then arrive late to the tournament, are you entered and then blinded away until you arrive?
If so, at what point are your chips removed from the table? or until they are all gone?

Hi Craig, yes that is correct... we have retained the system where the chips go into play even if you are late to arrive, and you will be blinded out... so your seat is guaranteed no matter what, and chips will NOT be removed at any stage... well, until you lose them ;)

£2k Play your way freeroll this Sunday, incredibly easy to qualify and last chance to qualify for next weeks £4k final.

This week finish in the top 27 and qualify for the Grand Final on the 5th June

We think probably less than 80 players will play for £4,000 (plus a signed england photo and replica shirt).

Let"s hope not ;)

The guys at Grosvenor are working tirelessly to implement upgrades and improvements.  I really feel they are driving the network to get better, which is another reason why the partnership between Grosvenor and APAT is going to be a great one.

Fingers crossed these mobile and Mac solutions can get rolled out as hoped.  Can"t wait :)
