Considering the shootout is a final table of 10.. Are we going with 10th+9th both scoring 2 points??

I"m happy with the majority or will leave it up to John to make final decision  ;D

2 points each sounds fair to me.

It"s Chidwick. Our interest might end soon. Paxo"s two runners, Ho and Jones, are tailed off.

#41 the Monster Stack, has reached the money. Just the 1,040 cashers to check.

27 left in #43, the $10k Stud Hi-Lo. Usual suspects - Elezra, Benyamine, Brunson, Bonomo, Clements, Danzer. Leah, Shak. Also Esther Taylor-Brady, who finished 11th in the Omaha Hi-Lo and 10th in the Mixed Omaha/Stud Hi-Lo. Further down, I see Urbanovich, Ramos, Hachem and Porter. Looking back through Day 1, it seems like every major name you could think of played this one, with the exception of Mercier. Not sure what he was doing.

That group I named in #43 - Elezra, Benyamine, Brunson, Bonomo, Clements, Danzer, Leah and Shak are all still there, except Shak, who was eliminated in the last hand of the night. Twelve players go into Day 3, and ten of them are braceletholders. My money is on one of the two non-braceletholders - Esther Taylor-Brady, who knows a thing or three about Hi-Lo.

Hi I had Dan Kelly , has his point been added to my meagre total ? :)

72 left in #41, the $1.5k Monster Stack. I can"t see any of our players in the live list, but only 50 are listed, so we could have someone. Old stagers TJ Cloutier & Donncha O"Dea are still in it.

71 left in #44, a $1k NLHE. Again, only half the field is listed and I just see one of our players, Deadman, showing in 4th place. There was an interesting situation not long ago in this: "...........the button player initially raises to around 30,000. The small blind folds and Dejan Boskovic tosses one chip into the pot and exposes his hand thinking the raiser is all in and that he has called the all in. The raiser is not all in, he has another 8,000 or so behind but he too exposes his hand. Both hands are face up on the table. The button raiser holds KT and Boskovic has KK. The floor rules that ........". I"d be curious to see if anyone can guess the ruling without checking it.

64 left in #45, a $1.5k Mixed NLHE/PLO. We have Heimiller in 4th, plus Farrell and Esfandiari though, again, the full field is not listed.

They have reached the final table in our feature event, #43 $10k Stud Hi-Lo:

There has been some movement since play started four hours ago with twelve players. Justin Bonomo came into the day as chip-leader but has drifted down to sixth place. Todd Brunson started third, but has been in the lead for most of today. Esther Taylor Brady started fifth, lost some and was about sixth or seventh for most of the time, but finished strongly and is now third in chips.

This was one of the starriest fields ever assembled. It seemed like everyone in the 136 starters was a top-rank player. Anyone you can name was in the field, so getting this far is a hell of an achievement. But there is still a huge task ahead - it is one of the most loaded final tables yet (and there have been some):

1.741m  Todd Brunson
1.100m  George Danzer
1.033m  Esther Taylor-Brady
  934k   Eli Elezra
  910k   Randy Ohel
  486k   Justin Bonomo
  337k   David Grey
  260k   Scott Clements

Esther is the only player left who doesn"t have a bracelet already but, despite the tough table, I have a feeling that she could win her first (and not her last) bracelet today.

Rock on Tommy! Mike Leah arrived straight from his shift on the lifeboat and finished 11th.

I"m betting it"s something like a penalty to one or even both of the players for exposing cards before showdown. But as you"ve posted it here, likely to be something more as well, maybe voiding the hand or something along those lines. Only other thing I can think of is the raiser being asked if he was supposed to be all in by the floor.

My guess is
the one chip wasn"t ruled as a call because he didn"t say call.

In the UK it would be a call and then no aggressive action on all streets by both players because they both exposed their cards.
Best hand wins at showdown.

The ruling was that the first player is all-in and he has to put in the other 8,000 pre-flop. Boskovic received a one-round penalty for being the first player to expose his hand. The KK held.

I was close then! What a stupid ruling though, making the player actually put the chips in. Although he probably would have done or should have done anyway. Not up to the floor to make the decision that he HAS to put his chips in if he didn"t want to. Should really have been given the option of passing on the hand, albeit leaving himself with 8k. In my opinion anyway.

Event 43: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split-8 or Better Championship

Runners          136
Paid          21
Final Table          8

Player          Position          Points
George Danzer          1          25
Justin Bonomo          3          15
Todd Brunson          5          10
Scott Clements          7          6

Danzer wins this event for a second time, having previously finished first in 2014. If he wins it again next year, he can keep it. He was all-in for 300k with three left, when the other two had 4.4m and 2.2m, and should have been out, but hit a two-outer on seventh street to treble up and it went on from there.

This event was different, more like an APAT final table than WSOP, with the players actually having fun, instead of the usual robots. And they were impressive players. Randy Ohel was second, having already finished third, fourth, eighth and tenth this year. Bonomo bagged his second third place in three days, and has also had a 2nd place. Esther Taylor-Brady was fourth for her third top-11 finish, all in Hi-Lo.  Eli Elezra was sixth for his seventh cash.

Luca picked the top two, extending his lead at the top.
