They are down to seven players in #3 the Stud.

Owen and Chidwick have cashed and Anderson has just been put out in 8th by Danzer, our last player. So much for teamwork.

This is a tough event. Someone counted that ten of the final sixteen are bracelet-winners, while those who aren"t, such as Chidwick and Owen, are no push-overs. Looking back down the top thirty, I can see several others who I know have also won bracelets. For me and many other men of a certain age, interest in this event was reduced by the departure of Cyndy Violette in 20th place. One of the afore-mentioned bracelet-winners (in Stud), these days Cyndy runs a vegan restaurant from the cash tables of the Bellagio.

Just had a look through Collossus payouts.. 2800+ got paid, after looking at about 400 my eyes gave up.
Rumours Maria Ho, Max Pescatori amongst others cashed but may have to wait for the skills of Mr Murray to confirm points.

Please feel free to look on the Hendom Mob site at your players to see if we miss any cashes.

My man Hogarty who I staked in the Collosus decided to play Walsall gukpt instead and cashed for over £2k. Can I have a bonus point please?

Seems fair enough. I"ll make the adjustment, assuming there are no objections.

There were 79 left in #5 Dealers Choice overnight, with 59 to cash.

We have failed to distinguished ourselves in this one as well, though we still have four players going:
30 Volpe
47 Buchanan
63 Wattel
70 Chidwick

Chidwick lost a big pot near the end. He is usually near the top in these things if he is still in, so it seems odd to see him in such difficulty. If Hellmuth was 70/79 overnight, I"d say he could still have a good chance of winning, but I don"t know yet whether Chidwick has such Hellmuthian hanging-on powers.

I can see Elezra, Bloch and Mizzi still have chips. Also Greenstein, on course for his second cash of this year"s Series already. And, going strong in 27th place, Chris Ferguson.

There are a lot of bonkers names again this year.

My favourites so far:
Shawn Quint (especially when he uses his initial)
Dusty Lane
Luigi Knoppers
John Dull

Chidders is out of the Dealer"s Choice.

Greenstein is also gone and has shown up immediately in #7 2-7 NL. These players!

Event #3: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship
Runners   :  87
Paid   :  14
Final Table   :  8

Player          Position          Points
George Danzer               3          15
Calvin Anderson               8          4
Stephen Chidwick               11          1
Adam Owen               12          1

Selector          Points
Chris               20
Steve               16
Craig               16
Carl               16
Luca               16
Simon L               15
IrishTom               4
Paul               1
Richard               1
Karen               1
Tom F               1
Neil               1
Simon B               1

After a  marathon (and star-studded) final table, Robert Mizrachi wins again. Why does no-one ever pick him?
Danzer rewards his supporters with another high finish.
Not sure about this scoring system, comparing 15 for Danzer against 1 for Anderson, but I don"t mind seeing it through for this year and we can judge it at the end.

Volpe was chip-leader for most of #5 Dealer"s Choice, and is currently in fourth place with four players remaining. Ferguson finished 19th - how come none of you picked him?

The Colossus is down to six players, and none of them are ours. We haven"t had any interest in this for quite a while. I"ll get around to the points for it when I have a spare month.

Mike Leah is sitting second in #6, a $1,500 NLHE, with less than 100 left. I can see that Zinno is still there, in the middle of the pack, but it is difficult to tell beyond that who else is there, as the update lists are not showing all of the players. Esfandiari may still be in, but I can"t tell. Ever-reliable Kessler definitely cashed, near the bottom as normal. Hellmuth missed the cash, being knocked just over 50 places short (303 being paid) right at the end of Day 1. Kyle Julies managed to cash in this the day after winning #4 Turbo.

Dan Kelly is our only player still in #7 2-7 NL, which Owen, Seidel, Farrell and Brunson have also cashed in. I see that Elezra and Greenstein are again highly placed, with 22 left, making me wonder why these players, too, have not caught our selectors" eyes.

Hi John, the unofficial final table for the stud was 9, are you sure the official final table wasn"t 8?

Event #5: $1500 Dealers Choice 6-Handed
Runners   :  389
Paid   :  59
Final Table   :  6

Player          Position          Points
Paul Volpe               4          12
Mike Wattel               53          1
Shaun Buchanan                54          1

Selector          Points
Luca               13
Barrie               12
Richard               12
Carl               12
John               1

With 44 left in #6, Leah and Zinno are in or around the top dozen for us. The big news is that Joe Laming, who has connections in these parts,  finished in 53rd place for $7.7k.

Kelly is lying 5th out of nine remaining in #7.

Bonomo, Idema,  Hastings,  Kessler and Bojang all riding high in #8 HORSE. Ho and Heimiller riding lower. Still a long way to go in that one.

Quite a few of our big names entered #10 $10k Heads Up, but they nearly all lost. Only Esfandiari is through to the round of 32 so far. Polk and Busquet are still playing the previous round, which was the grave of Nitsche and McKeehan. The majority didn"t even get that far.

Yep, you"re right, it was eight. I"ll fix it later.

Thanks Chris.

There"s Lamings everywhere Simon.  They just follow each other to poker tournament after poker tournament.

No, wait.....

That"s Lemmings.

Both Joe and Danny play poker, and it"s rumoured sometimes Glenn plays ;)
