STAKER -WSOP #11 $10,000 Dealers Choice Championship

Staker          Stake          Winnings          Profit
Ross Warren          £6960          £11149          £4189
Matthew Pitt          £6960          £7057          £97
Dann Williams          £6960          £4051          £-2909
Charlie Press          £6960          £3022          £-3938
Richard Prew          £6960          £2823          £-4137
Suzanne Hayward          £6960          £2632          £-4328
Carl Pilgrim          £6960          £2274          £-4686
Simon Lawlor          £6690          £2032          £-4658
Del Watson          £5960          £1516          £-4444
Christopher Kelly          £6960          £1516          £-5444
Nick Wright          £6960          £1053          £-5907

Ross Warren was the best picker in #11, being the only one to nab seventh-place James Obst. Matthew Pitt also turned a small profit by weighing into Adam Owen, though Chidders let him down. Several others had some return from successful investments, but were down overall due to their other selections.

STAKER LEADERBOARD

Staker          Stakes          Winnings          Profit
Leigh Wiltshire          £23892          £47817          £23925
Glenn Laming          £34865          £54863          £19998
Charlie Press          £26936          £31567          £4631
Juan De Diego          £15357          £17327          £1970
Thomas Piccirilli          £393          £1841          £1448

His big result in the Heads-Up has taken Glenn close to the top of the leaderboard, just behind Leigh, the early runaway leader. There are several events coming up now in quick succession. WSOP #13, #14, #16 and #18 are all on the Staker list, so this leaderboard could change a lot in the next few days.

So you had, and the program hasn"t given you any winnings. I wonder if it"s to do with name format. He is called John Edward Monnette on Staker (and HendonMob). Unfortunately, it is now too late to change the result - just kidding, I"m sure Des will work his magic to resolve it.

This is very easy to fix so I will check and adjust.  The names in the game and results are all taken from the Hendon Mob, so this sort of thing shouldn"t happen.  I will look into it though.

I checked this and you"re quite right, Carl.  My error based on the spelling.  It has been corrected in our data and here is the updated leaderboard, which is showing you at #1 for this event.

#13 Razz is approaching the final table. We have had lots of cashes in this already and have two still in for the serious points - Negreanu and Deeb, who are currently in 4th and 9th positions.

Rep Porter and David Benyamine are still there. This is Bentamine"s third cash and, potentially, second final table. It is Porter"s fourth cash. Somehow, he has managed to cash in both #12 and #13.

Also there are Matt Grapenthien, who won the $10k Stud two years ago and was 2nd this year, Michael Gathy (two bracelets), Brendan Taylor (one bracelet), Valentin Vornicu (eight Circuit rings) and Max Kruse (a footballer who picked up a 3rd place in 2014).

We got news for you. Guess who showed up to play? None other than cuddly Howard. For the first time since 2010, Howard Lederer is playing in the WSOP. I thought he would wait for the Players Championship, but he is playing #16 $10k 2-7 NLSD. The stalking horse, Chris Ferguson, has played several days without incident, so far as we know, so Lederer has obviously decided to chance it. Although Ferguson has played some mass events, I expect Lederer will stick to the $10k tournaments mainly populated by professiional players, where he is much less likely to  come face-to-face with random punters bearing a grudge.

How is he getting on? It doesn"t matter - what matters is whether he gets through the day without being confronted.

Prince shared some of his theory “I reach for the sky.” "My mind is where it needs to be. It"s almost like I am seeing through their hands." “Everything I did was calculated in advance. I was thinking ten moves ahead. My opponents didn"t know that. But that"s what I was doing. I was locked in the whole time..I tend to play the tournament out in my head in advance so I can be ready to make my moves. Any situation that comes up, I"m already ready for it.”
Great tactics. I will be trying this in the next Apat tournament.
